Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on The Young and the Restless

What did we just witness on The Young and the Restless? Lily was so laser-focused on mindbending Damian that she didn’t even finish her fake breakfast. If she was right (okay, not if, she was right) that Damian was interested in “seeing where things could go” with her romantically, she was waving so many red flags you’d think she was a matador. I’m going to guess she was trying to be coy, but she contradicted herself so much that it made my head spin. On one hand, Lily said Damian was part of her family, but she also tried…flirting? She wanted to coerce Damian to quit his job with Aristotle Dumas to prove that he wasn’t in cahoots or doing anything underhanded with his boss. Huh? What kind of litmus test is that? Lily doesn’t trust Damian enough to let him work at Winters, but if he quits his job, then he can come work there? Wouldn’t he have to quit his job with Dumas to work anywhere else? Good one, Lily…so clever. He’d pass that test without even trying — if Damian could trust that Winters wanted to actually hire him this time. But what would quitting his job prove anyway? If Damian was in cahoots with Dumas about something, and it was true that Dumas was after Winters…then bringing Damian into the company would only help Dumas pull off some sort of corporate attack.
