Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick -- and by that, I mean you're already halfway done -- recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today's episode. Let's get to it:
What happened on The Young and the Restless

Chance (Conner Floyd) may not have gotten a on-screen memorial on The Young and the Restless, but, thanks to his ex-wife Abby (Melissa Ordway), the man is not being forgotten! Abby disappeared around halfway into the sojourn that much of the Y&R cast took to Nice, France, last summer. Sure, there were a lot of characters to service, but Abby's reaction to Chance's death should have gotten some thoughtful airtime. Longtime grudges are a staple on The Young and the Restless. Jill (Jess Walton) and Katherine (the late, great Jeanne Cooper) argued for decades over Kay's role in Phillip's (Donnelly Rhodes) death. So, we're on board if Abby wants to blast Cane every time she sees him for the rest of our lives. Cane opened himself up to some harsh (but true) words from Abby, who reminded the billionaire that three people, including her son's father, Chance, died at his chateau. Cane said he felt sorry in that tone people use when they say, "I'm sorry you're upset," which is never truly helpful. "I hope you're prepared to face Nina [Tricia Cast]," Abby informed Cane. (We can't wait for that, too!) Abby suggested to Cane that if he truly wanted to help, then he could go back in time and make different choices. We love seeing fierce, protective Abby on our screens!
