The Young and the Restless' Daily YAPP Recap, September 10: Kyle could be Holden on, but digs his hole even deeper

Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on The Young and the Restless

On The Young and the Restless, Kyle getting in Holden’s face was ridiculous and rude — and exactly how it should have been. Kyle was flinging accusations out of desperation and insecurity, and Holden frustrated him with none given. And we want more of it. Okay, maybe less of Kyle’s hypocritical temper tantrums, but an unflustered Holden telling him to “pull his head out of his ass” we could do more of. It was near-laughable for Kyle to accuse Holden of being out for himself and an opportunist when he knows absolutely nothing about the guy. But Holden clapping back that Kyle didn’t have a leg to stand on? Hilarious. And accurate. In fact, the more we get to know about Holden, the more we like him. So far, he’s shown us that he’s fiercely loyal, has a vulnerable side, is capable of love, tough, unafraid of confrontation, and can hold his own when he thinks it’s the right thing. More, please. Give Holden a backstory, family, let him make some friends, and it goes without saying that a romance wouldn’t hurt, either. In fact, in the quickly developing TeamKyle vs. TeamHolden situation, our vote is a shoo-in, but in the meantime, watching Kyle deservedly squirm and worry, we’re here for that, too.
