Welcome to The Young and the Restless Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on The Young and the Restless

On The Young and the Restless, Nick seems like he’s starting to wonder why he ever returned to work. He’s had months, if not a year, off while Victoria held down the fort and he took care of Sharon when he wasn’t trying to find her during one of her many kidnappings. But now he’s back in a suit, got a haircut, and ready to serve as part of the Newman army…and he’s surrounded by questions. The biggest deal on the Newman plate at the moment is how to fight the war with Cane, and Victor and Adam are, of course, all in. But what even is the war about? Well, we don’t really know. Apparently, Cane is set on stealing some privately owned companies, and to do so, he’s got software that will hack into their systems and take over. But does he? Because this AI stuff that Victor suddenly knows all about is also the reason Cane asked Phyllis to work with him, so she could create it and be the hacker. But now Victor is one step ahead of everyone as always, and knows the answer to every question that he is asking. Still keeping up? Us neither. The only thing that did make sense was Adam’s complete lack of irony when he admonished Cane for being a known liar.
