The Young and the Restless spoilers

On The Young and the Restless, the questions on everyone’s minds are what Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) is really up to — and what he has done. On Tuesday, we just might find out! Let’s see what’s coming up on tomorrow’s episode:

Many people in Genoa City have been wanting to befriend Cane in hopes of fishing for information. Victor (Eric Braeden) told Adam (Mark Grossman) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) that his plan was to try to make Cane an ally and then observe what he was doing — to use it against Jabot. But what Victor left out was that he had a way to make Cane do what he wanted, and brought a piece of evidence with him to force Cane’s loyalty. But will it work? Cane has other options…

Cane also thinks he’s got an alliance with Billy (Jason Thompson) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), but Billy isn’t as all-in as he claims. Yes, he wants Chancellor, but he doesn’t trust Cane to get it. Billy’s hired a private investigator to follow Cane in hopes of finding out exactly what he’s up so that he can protect Jabot, and still get Chancellor. But that could easily blow up in his face if Cane realizes that Billy is working against him.

And then there is Lily (Christel Khalil), who wants to use Cane’s love for her against him. Lily hopes that she can use Cane wanting to reunite with her as a way to pretend to get closer to him and fish for information. But Lily’s plan could backfire if she realizes she still has real feelings for her ex.

Phyllis, however, can relate to Cane. She, too, had her kids turn their backs on her, and she has managed to come back several times from the wrath of the entire city. She’s offered to be Cane’s friend, although he wasn’t too keen to get on board with that idea. Now, however, he might see her as the only friend he might actually have.

But Holden (Nathan Owens) shouldn’t be counted out. Like Cane (and Phyllis), he doesn’t have any friends in Genoa City, and no ulterior motive where his relationship with Cane goes — or does he?

On Tuesday, Cane reveals details about his time away from Genoa City, but to whom? Presuming he tells the truth, is it as nefarious as many people think? The two people Cane wants to know about what he did, and why he did it, aren't speaking to him. Can Cane talk to Maddie and Charlie on a video call and explain it all to them?
