The Young and the Restless Recap, June 12, 2025: Chelsea tells Victor she knows that Dumas is Tucker McCall 

On the Thursday, June 12, 2025, episode of The Young and the Restless, Jack and Diane figured out that Victor wanted to bring down Kyle, and Victor and Chelsea each called the other's bluff. Also, Audra fibbed to Nate.

What happened on The Young and the Restless

Mariah showed Sharon some pictures of her daughter, Aria, riding a bike. “You seem calmer,” Sharon noted to Mariah. Cassie's twin said that she and Tessa were starting to have a dialogue about what was standing between them. Sharon was happy to hear that a door had been opened.

Then, Nick visited Sharon and made his pitch for her to be his guest at Dumas's big gala in France. Sharon wasn’t impressed about Dumas's party, but Mariah was. Sharon said she was happy with her life in Genoa City. Nick noted Dumas’s gathering was the event of the year. Mariah agreed. Sharon accused them of ganging up on her.

Nick and Mariah played up the benefits of going to Nice with Nick. Mariah said she didn’t want to be the reason Sharon stayed home. Nick picked up on Mariah’s reference that there could be trouble between her and Tessa.

Mariah said that she and Sharon could always talk on the phone and that she’d handle company business. Nick told his ex that she was out of excuses. Sharon agreed to go and left to pack. Nick and Mariah high-fived each other. Mariah wondered if Nick and Sharon were becoming a thing again.

Nick said that he and Sharon were just having fun. He changed the subject to Mariah and how she was doing. Nick noted that Sharon didn’t say anything specific, but he could pick up that something was going on. Mariah said Sharon’s trying to help might be hurting her, as she needed some space. Nick suggested that Mariah urging Sharon to go to France was a smidge self-serving.

Nick offered to lend Mariah an ear if she needed one. The two hugged it out. Later, Sharon reappeared in the living room, excited to be going to France with Nick. Mariah told Sharon that a work project was in her inbox. Nick urged them to get going. Mariah quipped that the Newman jet would wait. Sharon said she was going to call Mariah regularly, and she expected her to answer. Mariah told Nick and Sharon to have fun. Alone, she wistfully looked at photos of her and Tessa.

At Crimson Lights, Chelsea thanked Victor for meeting with her. She came clean and said that Victor was aware she didn’t like Adam smearing Billy. Victor told Chelsea she was wasting Victor’s time. She countered that she wanted to cut a deal with him. Chelsea said she could reveal Aristotle Dumas’s true identity. Chelsea said that she didn’t know Dumas personally, but that her days as a con artist helped her figure out who Dumas was. “I’ll be damned,” Victor responded.

Victor said if Chelsea truly cared about the Newmans, she’d provide Dumas’s info without any strings. The mogul inquired if Chelsea was still in love with “Billy Boy Abbott” and asked if she was just using Adam.

Chelsea said she’d always care about Billy, but that’s not why she wanted Victor to stop his attack on him. Victor blew Chelsea out of the water by asking her why he would bargain for information he already possessed. He said he knew who Aristotle Dumas truly was.

Victor and Chelsea each accused the other of bluffing when it came to knowing Dumas's identity. Chelsea said that she didn’t have any “tells” that would give away her fibbing. Victor suggested that Chelsea was losing her touch. He added that Chelsea was going to tell him that Aristotle Dumas is Tucker McCall. “You got me,” Chelsea conceded. “Tucker is Dumas.”

Victor accused Chelsea of merely making an educated guess, as she had no proof. Chelsea conceded it was a “calculated guess,” pointing out that Tucker wants Chancellor because it was his mother’s company.

“Tucker McCall is not Aristotle Dumas,” Victor informed Adam’s love. Victor told Chelsea that he knows things, including the fact that Tucker has been spending the last six months in a prison in India. “Oh,” a defeated Chelsea replied, “I guess it would be hard to throw a party in Nice then.”

Victor said he admired Chelsea’s bluff, but he advised her to abandon the idea of protecting Billy, and instead, she should support Adam. Chelsea asked if Tucker was not Dumas, then who is? Victor told her to have a nice day and then left.

Meanwhile, Jack and Kyle poked fun at Diane for overpacking for the trip to France. Kyle revealed Audra’s plan to pit a Jabot perfume against one of hers for Vibrante at Dumas’s party. Diane conceded it was a solid marketing idea.

Jack pointed out that Dumas would need to sign off on that. Diane wondered how it would all work as neither Kyle nor Audra was invited to the event. Kyle revealed that Audra had been invited and asked him to be her guest.

Kyle said he recommended that Jack handle Audra’s idea, but revealed that Audra believed he’d be a better representative on this venture than Jack would be. Diane playfully assured her husband that he was still hot and very sexy. Jack agreed that Kyle would be a better fit for this particular campaign. Diane put the brakes on this idea moving forward, as Kyle would be playing into Audra’s hands.

Jack observed that Jabot would win this competition with Audra, and it would generate publicity for the family’s company. Kyle said he needed to find a way to crush Audra’s dreams without accompanying everyone to France.

Kyle said he wasn’t going to go and leave Claire when she needed him because Cole was sick. Diane suggested that Kyle call Claire to find out how he was doing. Alone, Diane told Jack she was surprised he was encouraging Kyle to come with them. Jack surmised that Audra was trying to trap Kyle on Victor’s orders, as he was funding her company.

Jack and Diane pieced together that Victor wanted Kyle to fail spectacularly in France, and his fall would not only hurt him professionally but also in Claire’s eyes. Still, Jack felt that Kyle needed to be the one to look Audra in the eye and say that you failed. Diane was opposed to Kyle being involved in this. Jack persisted and added that he loved Diane for wanting to protect Kyle. Diane noted that Audra was out for revenge and it wasn’t her mind for business that gave her concern. Diane accused Audra of weaponizing her sexuality. Jack said Kyle would never do anything to jeopardize his relationship with Claire. Jack said that he and Diane would make sure nothing would happen to Kyle. Jack wanted to see Kyle beat Victor at his own game. Next, Kyle updated his parents that Cole was doing better, so he decided to go with them to Dumas’s party in France.

At the Genoa City Athletic Club, a skeptical Nate wondered how Audra scored an invitation to Dumas’s big gala. Nate doubted Dumas would partake in a stunt involving an unknown company. He pressed his girlfriend and pointed out that Dumas was not to be trusted. Audra theorized that Nate was upset at Dumas because Damian had been fired. Nate wondered if Lily and Devon were walking into a trap.

Audra theorized that Dumas could pull a J. Gatsby (from The Great Gatsby) and not even show up for his party. Nate wondered if Dumas was trying to take control of Chancellor, Winters, or even both! Audra pointed out that both companies were privately owned, asking how exactly Dumas would pull off takeovers. Nate offered to go with Audra.

Audra came up with a bunch of reasons for Nate not to go to France, including work, Amy, and a pending deal. She asked Nate if he thought that Devon and Lily couldn't handle their own. Nate said he believed that they could and that Audra could, too. However, Nate added that he’d like to revisit traveling abroad with Audra in the future. She said that would happen once Vibrante becomes No. 1.

Audra said she had to finish packing and invited Nate to join her so she could say goodbye to him properly. Nate asked Audra to promise not to get into trouble while she was away. “Me? Trouble?” she replied coyly. Just then, Kyle texted Audra, telling her “It’s on. See you in France.”

Meanwhile, Victor arrived home and poured himself a drink. Nikki asked her husband if Chelsea was successful in getting Newman Media to back off of Bily. Victor said, "Of course not!" Nikki wondered if they were all being led to the lion’s den by going to Dumas’s party. Victor assured Nikki that he’d dealt with bigger fish than Dumas. He urged his wife not to worry about a thing.
