Sharon screamed at Matt in The Shadow Room and wanted to know why he targeted Noah. She asked if he returned from the dead just to go after Noah. However, she assured him that she wasn't afraid of him this time. Matt's biggest mistake was going after one of her children, and she warned him to be afraid of what she was capable of. He pretended not to know the basis of her threats and accusations, and he tried to blame her behavior on her grief about Noah's accident. He told her that any parent would react the same way.

Sharon refused to buy into Matt's act, and she knew that he was putting on a facade. Sharon said, "You honestly think you can toy with us? Because you're going to make yourself sorry you ever underestimated me. You should be glad we're in a public space right now because that's the only thing keeping me from ripping your eyes out." Matt refused to deal with Nick and Sharon's relentless pursuit of him, and she responded that she would never believe him. Matt gave it another go at telling Sharon he wasn't who she proclaimed him to be, and when he attempted to walk away, she grabbed him by the arm and told him they weren't finished.

Sharon said if he stayed away from her family, he'd never have to deal with them again. Matt claimed that Nick's threats didn't scare her, and neither did Sharon's. She promised to make him suffer if she got to him before Nick did.

Sharon returned to her hotel room, still shaken by the confrontation with Matt. She immediately dialed Phyllis back in Genoa City, so she could have someone to talk to. Phyllis was unavailable, but she thanked her for the kind wishes about Noah's recovery. Sharon barely got through the phone call without completely breaking down, which would make for quite an interesting voicemail for Phyllis when she gets it.

Sharon confessed on the phone that she confronted Matt at The Shadow Room, but she defended her actions and couldn't fathom why he still concealed his identity.

Sally met Bill at the jazz lounge, and she was devastated about having to tell Audra that her job at Abbott Communications was on hold. She knew Audra wasn't happy, but she put on a brave face. Billy discussed running into Cane and Phyllis at the park, and Cane was distracted by an unknown issue. Cane abruptly ended the conversation, which left Billy highly suspicious about the nature of his exit. Phyllis did her best to play it off, but Billy knew her far too well to buy that.

Sally believed the stolen AI program could definitely put Cane on edge. At first, Billy wasn't convinced by Cane's story about the program's theft, but after their encounter at Chancellor Park, he believed him. Billy also believed Phyllis was more than capable of taking the program out of Cane's control. Sally questioned if that meant Phyllis was playing both sides against each other. Regardless, there were no attacks on Jabot or Abbott Communications, so it wasn’t time to panic quite yet.

Billy enjoyed Cane's inner turmoil about the AI program potentially being used against him. Sally wished Bily didn't get so much joy from Cane's potential downfall. He asked her not to feel abd for Cane, but she wanted to let sleeping dogs lie, and maintain focus on the launch of their company. Sally couldn't afford for Billy to become obsessed with revenge again, and she had genuine concern about history repeating itself. He defended his feelings because Cane had previously taunted the AI against his family. Ultimately, he promised he wouldn’t lose sight of what really mattered.

Sally tried to let Audra down easily, but Audra saw right through her. Without revealing the investor's name, she promised to get Audra back on board at the company. Billy didn't think Adura was the waiting type. However, Sally hated disappointing her friend. He was concerned that Audra would retaliate against them and be the newest target on their backs. Sally assured him that that wasn't the case, and she still planned on bringing Audra into the fold at some point. Sally still saw the value of adding Audra to the team, even if she had to wait a bit longer.

Nick couldn't believe that Noah and Sienna were in a hospital bed liplock, but he walked into the room and apologized for interrupting. Sienna worked to quickly compose herself, and Noah admitted that he hadn't expected Nick's return to the hospital that evening. Nick and Sienna spoke in the waiting room, and he demanded answers about the nature of their relationship. Nick wondered why the affair was kept a secret from him and Sharon.

Sienna didn't think it was her place to disclose things to Nick and Sharon about their relationship. She wanted details about their involvement, but she insisted that Noah be the one to explain. Nick accused Sienna of being cagey and reminded her of the first time they spoke, asking if she was romantically linked to Noah. Sienna thought Nick jumped to conclusions about the night of the accident, but she understood how he'd find it difficult to believe her. Sienna promised she had no involvement in Noah's crash and was unaware of who might want to see harm come to him.

Sienna didn't think Mitch could have been involved in Noah's accident because he was supposedly out of town. Nick corrected her about Mitch's name and referred to him as Matt. Sienna told Nick that whether or not Mitch knew about her affair with Noah wasn't her business. Nick assured her that her husband wasn't who he claimed to be and that he did unspeakable things to Sharon. Nick was under the assumption that Matt came to Los Angeles to give himself a new name and image under the Mitch moniker. He asked how long they'd been married and how much she knew of his life before her.

Nick berated her about Matt's past and wanted her to consider that he could've learned of the affair and targeted Noah. This reminded Nick of him and Sharon's past with Matt, but she refused to listen. She thought the story about Matt wasn't the person she knew her husband to be. Nick didn't want to scare her, but he warned her against remaining involved with him. Sienna understood the great deal of concern from Nick, but she felt that he was searching for answers in places that didn't exist.

Noah asked where Sienna went when Nick reentered the hospital room. Nick wanted to know why he withheld the truth about his and Sienna's involvement. Nick promised he wasn't judging, but they were clearly more entangled than they claimed. Nick asked if it seemed as if Mitch sought him out on purpose, and he told him to permanently stay away from both him and Sienna. After Sharon arrived, Noah realized that they had far more information about his accident than they had shared with him. Nick and Sharon shared worried glances, but Nick told Noah they should fill his mother in on everything.

Noah knew there was more to it. He couldn't take any more deception looming behind his back. They agreed to finally let him in on the truth about Matt Clark. They explained how he was someone from their past, and that they believed he was responsible for running him off the road. Noah refused to believe anything they said, and he requested that they leave his hospital room.

Sienna returned to The Shadow Room for a long overdue confrontation with her husband. He didn't want to listen because of his previous encounter with Sharon. Sienna demanded that he make time, and she presented him with a photo of himself from two decades prior in Genoa City as Matt Clark. He ignored the evidence she put forth before him, but she wouldn't let it go. She wanted to know if Mitch's entire connection to Noah was an elaborate scheme to lure Nick and Sharon into his clutches. He told her to forget what she thought she knew, and she threatened him with police involvement if he didn't answer. However, he issued an ominous warning about taking things in that direction.
