On the Wednesday, June 18, episode of The Young and the Restless, watch for Danny to give counsel to Daniel, Chelsea and Adam to mix business with pleasure, and Tessa to lose patience with a troubled Mariah.
What happens on The Young and the Restless

Daniel (Michael Graziadei) has nicely told his mother Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) that he doesn't want her interfering as he continues to face what's next in life. However, that doesn't mean he's opposed to all parental support. On Wednesday's show, watch for Danny (Michael Damian), who has returned to Genoa City, to counsel his son.
Danny is a stable influence in Daniel's life. They have music in common now that Daniel has taken up guitar lessons with Tessa (Cait Fairbanks). Will Danny give his son advice about the music world? Or will he counsel him on life in general?
Business with pleasure

Adam (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) have a bit of a break from Victor's influence as he's over in France with most of the other power players in Genoa City. Chelsea is happy that Adam is doing his best to refrain from going after Billy (Jason Thompson) as Victor has commanded. On Wednesday's show, watch for the couple to mix a little business with pleasure.
Perhaps Adam will find a way to placate Victor that won't destroy the Abbott family. Chelsea and Adam are going to enjoy their Victor-free time as much as possible. Who knows what they're capable of coming up with now that his attention is somewhat elsewhere?
Patience lost

Tessa has shown the patience of a saint recently. No, we're not talking about the time she's taking to show Daniel how to play the guitar. We're referring to how much time she's given Mariah (Camryn Grimes) to come clean about what happened while she was away. Tessa and Mariah have been through a great deal. However, they can't move forward if Mariah's not going to be honest.
Let's face it -- Mariah doesn't have a good poker face. She hasn't done a great job of hiding that something is amiss. Mariah needs to open up. Especially as, on Wednesday's show, we'll see that Tessa is going to lose patience with her wife.
