What to expect on The Young and the Restless

On Thursday, watch for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to move forward with his plan to have Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) drive a wedge between Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Victor's granddaughter, Claire (Hayley Erin). The mogul rarely backs down from a fight, and he sees Audra as a key factor in getting Claire away from Jack Abbott's (Peter Bergman) son.

So far, Audra doesn't appear to have any qualms about getting back into business with Victor. He's setting her up in her own company. Audra's getting what she wants. Now, all she has to do is give Victor what he is asking. How will Victor raise the game with Audra? Might he ask for things to be done on a faster timetable?

The Good Wife

Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey Bregman) knows her husband is a smart, savvy lawyer who gets people out of jams. But can he get himself out of the tough situation he's in with Victor? Lauren has the best interests of Michael (Christian LeBlanc) at heart.

She probably suspects, though, that Victor is not likely to back down from his demands. Lauren may feel that Michael will have to change so that he will not be caught between Victor and his conscience. Watch for Lauren to lose patience with Michael on Thursday. This is all because she loves him and wants him to be okay.

Travel plans

Also on Thursday, Summer (Allison Lanier) is going to deal with a professional crisis. Does this dilemma mean that she's going to have to leave town to deal with whatever work matter has come to her attention?

Lanier has announced on social media that her last Y&R episode is set for Friday, May 2. When actors leave soaps, they either depart over a storyline twist or the performer in question is recast. As Summer is dealing with a professional crisis, she may leave town to deal with something related to work.

We've noticed that Summer still has feelings for her ex-husband Kyle (Michael Mealor). However, he is committed to Claire (Hayley Erin), and he has Audra (Zuleyka Silver) to deal with professionally, and perhaps personally as well. Summer may need some time away from Genoa City as she deals with this work issue.
