On The Young and the Restless next week, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) turns to Daniel (Michael Graziadei) as a surprising ally, but does she want his help to reunite with Tessa (Cait Fairbanks), or is she looking for Tessa to move on without her?

In the park one night, Mariah asks Daniel, “Did you do what I asked?” Daniel shakes his head. “Tessa doesn’t know that I’m here. I didn’t tell her,” he says. Will Mariah tell Daniel what she did that night months ago — and will he help her disappear?

Sally’s (Courtney Hope) world is falling apart. She left her job at Marchetti to work with Billy (Jason Thompson) and launch Abbott Communications with him — despite warnings from everyone else. Now that Jack has pulled his funding and there is no company to launch, Sally needs other options.

Diane (Susan Walters) was one of the people issuing the warnings about Billy all along. Next week, Diane asks Sally if Billy is alright. Desperately worried, Sally admits, “No. Billy is not alright. He’s about to make the biggest mistake of his life.” Billy seems intent on following through with working with Cane (Billy Flynn) to bring down Victor (Eric Braeden), but maybe there’s something Diane can do to help the situation.

On his custom-made train, Cane has a meeting with Billy. There is a lot riding on what happens next — for both men. Cane asks Billy, “How long have you dreamed about taking down Victor Newman?” The truth is, Billy’s been dreaming about this opportunity for years. He hasn’t been able to get revenge on Victor on his own, and it’s been hard rallying a posse. Is Cane the real partner in crime that Billy has needed to get the job done? If he teams up with him, he could lose everyone and everything else. “All you gotta do is say yes, and you can let the dismantling of Newman Enterprises begin,” Cane tells him. Is this an offer Billy can actually refuse?
