On The Young and the Restless next week, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) and Daniel (Michael Graziadei) are at the park talking about his guitar lessons. Excitedly, Tessa tells Daniel that she can’t wait to see how proud Daniel’s dad will be when he hears his son play his first song.

Daniel doesn’t seem as focused on Danny’s (Michael Damian) reaction as he is in awe of his teacher. “You came up with lyrics and the melody and you took those chords and you made it into something beautiful,” Daniel tells Tessa. Tessa stares, captivated, as he adds, “Just like you.”

In the evening, Holden (Nathan Owens) and Claire (Hayley Erin) sit on a park bench together. Claire has been pressing Holden to tell her the truth about his relationship with Audra and what they did together back in L.A. years prior.

Holden reluctantly admits to Claire that what went down back then wasn’t totally legal. “So are you protecting Audra? Or yourself? Or both?” Claire wonders in response.

Holden seems apprehensive about sharing. Legalities aside, he is more concerned about telling anything to Claire in particular. “If you knew the truth about what happened, I’m afraid it might change the way that you see me,” Holden tells her.

At Society, it’s Sally (Courtney Hope) and Billy’s (Jason Thompson) big night as it’s Sally’s launch of Abbott Communications, and she’s planned a retro costume party for the festivities. As they walk through the door, Billy calls out, “Ladies and gentlemen, the guests have arrived and the party…” but their jaws drop as they come into the restaurant.

Sally can’t believe her eyes when she realizes the room is empty. “Wait, hold on — this place is supposed to be decked out…where is everybody?!” she gasps. Billy and Sally stop in their tracks as they spot Cane walking around the corner to the bar. “Hey guys…glad you made it. I was starting to get worried,” Cane says with a grin.
