Jack (Peter Bergman) and Victor (Eric Braeden), united, may be able to blow Cane off the Genoa City map, but that doesn't mean they're ever going to trust one another. On Wednesday's show, watch for Victor to play his cards close to the vest with Jack.

This won't come as any surprise to Jack. He knows that he and Victor will never be besties. However, Jack may hope that Victor will see the value in striking an alliance and seeing it through until Cane is vanquished.

Old habits die hard

Michael (Christian LeBlanc) may have pulled away from Victor earlier this year because he wasn't going to take part in the mogul's vendetta against Jack Abbott. However, Michael certainly has been known to visit the dark side. In his early days in Genoa City, he was exposed as a sexual harasser after he tried to coerce Christine (Lauralee Bell) into sleeping with him.

On Wednesday's show, watch for Michael to experience difficulty fighting old habits. Are the old habits in question related to Michael's harassment? Or is Michael going to fall back into his role as Victor's (to use Lauren's word) "fixer"? Michael taking either of these paths could play havoc with his marriage.

Friendly fire

Lauren (Tracey Bregman) has asked her pal Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) for help before when it comes to the relationship between their husbands. Lauren wanted Michael to stay away from Victor because she felt he'd get hurt or end up in another overseas prison!

On Wednesday's episode, watch for Lauren to put Nikki in a tough position. Is she going to ask her friend to intervene between Victor and Michael so that Michael doesn't get hurt? Victor expects his family, which includes Nikki, not to question his business decisions. Nikki could be playing with fire if she gets in the middle of Victor and Michael's dynamic.
