What to expect on The Young and the Restless
On The Young and the Restless, Lily wanted to avoid Cane when he got to Genoa City, but now she believes that only she can get close enough to him to let down his guard. When the North American version of the Dumas Express rolls into town, Cane invites Lily to join him on it. “All aboard!” he grins with an open-armed welcome. Lily looks less than pleased to be back on a replica of the scene of the crime.
Meanwhile, Cane’s got a lot going on with the business elite that he brought to the French Riviera. Back in Genoa City, everyone is nervous about what Cane has planned and which one of them will be his first target. Little do many of them know that he wants all the big companies under his umbrella.
Billy told Jack what he knew about Cane’s plans and promised family loyalty. Jack has no choice but to believe Billy, but he has never had confidence in Billy’s abilities in the business world. Jack brings Diane up to speed on the situation with Cane, but tells her there’s a problem. “It requires that we put all of our faith — and perhaps the future of the family company — in Billy’s hands,” Jack says.
Daniel hadn’t even considered moving on from Tessa or finding love again. In fact, spending time with Tessa was only meant to find a way to stop feeling like he was drowning in grief. So imagine his surprise when he realizes that he may have developed some feelings he didn’t think he’d ever feel again.
This week, Daniel visits with his dad in the park, and as they are talking, Danny notes that Daniel sounds like he might have some feelings growing. Daniel seems to be surprising himself as it occurs to him that he might like Tessa more than a friend.
