On Monday’s episode of The Young and the Restless, Adam loses his cool, Victoria works to protect Billy, and Audra encourages Sally to play dirty.
Tempers boil over at Society
Billy (Jason Thompson) spotted Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) running out the door of Society after she and Adam (Mark Grossman) had a blow-up. Billy goes to Adam and demands to know what Adam did to upset Chelsea.
Adam blows off Billy and starts to walk away, but when Billy grabs his arm, Adam comes back swinging. He punches Billy in the face as Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) tries to break them up.

The physical fight ends there, as Phyllis intervenes. Billy gives Adam a hard shove and says that Adam is not worth it. Phyllis gets Billy back to the office at Abbott-Chancellor and warns him that Adam is not someone one wants to push too far.
Family matters
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) consults with Cole (J. Eddie Peck) about her concerns about her family. She doesn’t like what her parents are plotting against the father of her children.
Victoria tells Cole the details about her buyout suggestion, and Cole encourages her to break ranks with her father and warn Billy about what the Newmans are up to.
Cole reminds Victoria there will be fallout with Victor (Eric Braeden).
Good advice from friends
Chelsea runs into Summer (Allison Lanier) at Crimson Lights. Chelsea confides in Summer about her breakup with Billy. Summer thinks there’s hope for reconciliation.
Adam wants to apologize, but Chelsea yells at him again when he tries to continue their previous conversation.
Questionable advice from friends
Sally (Courtney Hope) and Audra (Zuleyka Silver) meet in the park. Sally confesses she has a broken heart, and Audra gives her relationship advice. They talk about the benefits and joy of revenge.
Audra tells Sally that feeling nothing is the best revenge against anyone who hurts her. Audra tells Sally about her plan to destroy Kyle (Michael Mealor).
Victoria warns Billy
Victoria tries to convince Billy to take a buyout, but he’s not interested. He already knows that Victor is plotting a takeover but wants to take his chances and win that battle instead.
Billy is disappointed that Victoria thinks Billy could lose the war.
Billy tells Phyllis about Victoria’s offer, and he is adamant about fighting against Victor. Phyllis assures Billy that no matter what, she is all in.
