Now that The Young and the Restless' Sienna has arrived in Genoa City with Noah, is Detective Burrow not far behind?

We can't help but wonder whether everyone from the L.A. storyline will eventually wind up in GC. If Matt Clark shows up there soon, will Burrow be hot on his trail?

It's been a while since we've seen Detective Burrow (Matt Cohen) on The Young and the Restless. The last time was when he pulled a gun on Matt (Roger Howarth) in that shabby room where Matt kept Noah (Lucas Adams) and Sienna (Tamara Braun) prisoner.

It was great to find out that Burrow was true to his word and really is an undercover cop on a mission to take down Matt for dealing fentanyl. The Y&R writers did a good job keeping us guessing about whether or not he was telling the truth. So, it was good to learn that all of his interactions with Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case) were on the up and up all along.

Have we seen the last of Annie?

The Young and the Restless writers gave us a cool twist when we learned that one of the two partners was a clean cop (Burrow) and the other turned out to be a dirty cop (Annie, played by Catherine Kresge). After Annie surprisingly pulled a gun on Burrow, Noah and Sienna managed to escape from the room, and Annie chased after them but didn't catch up to them.

If Matt Clark follows Noah and Sienna to Genoa CIty, would Annie come also, since she was on his payroll? It doesn't feel like she's really needed in GC, since the police have been notified that Matt is on the loose and his "Mitch Bacall" cover has been blown to bits. Victor (Eric Braeden) used the AI program to decimate Matt's online finances, so what use could Matt have for Annie at this point?

Will Burrow become Genoa's City's next detective?

When we last saw Burrow, he was struggling with Matt and trying to prevent him from running out of that seedy room. We know Matt did manage to escape, because he followed Noah and Sienna in his car. Annie tried to take down Burrow, but he got away from her.

So, will Burrow be the next L.A. resident to arrive in GC? Genoa City certainly needs another cop, now that Chance (Conner Floyd) was killed by Carter (Vincent Stalba). We know Burrow can never truly take Chance's place, as Chance was on Y&R for years and had family connections to both Jill (Jess Walton) and Nina (Tricia Cast).

Unfortunately, the residents of GC have been losing good cops for years. Paul (Doug Davidson) is no longer on the canvas, and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) was killed in a car accident in 2022. We need a permanent law enforcement officer on The Young and the Restless. Will Burrow arrive in GC soon and fill those shoes? It feels like we need an explosive showdown between Burrow and Matt. Burrow should be the one to slap the cuffs on him and haul him away for good. If he does, then Victor and the other Newmans will view him as a hero. If Burrow remains in Genoa City, then that could open up all kinds of possibilities for his character and possibly a future romance with one of the single GC ladies. Stay tuned to see what's ahead for the undercover cop!
