On The Young and the Restless, the mystery behind the identity of Aristotle Dumas has been going on a while now. While some think it’s been going on too long, there might be a really good reason for it.
Aristotle Dumas on The Young and the Restless

Okay, let’s just cut to the chase. We know a little, but I think we might actually know more than we thought about Aristotle Dumas. About six years ago, the billionaire hit the radar of business owners in Genoa City, as he began making a name for himself and making a lot of money through real estate. During that time, he managed to beat Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) out of some lucrative deals. And no one does that unless they know the enemy they’re making in doing so, right?
Dumas also seems to have his/her finger on the pulse of the inside information about the family dynamics of the Newmans and Abbotts. Not just the names or the family tree, but the private conversations as well.
Then there’s Damian and Holden, who work for Dumas but have never met him. Damian has communicated with him via text and email, and spoke on the phone, but admitted that it could have been a representative he was talking to, he’d have no way of really knowing. But what Damian and Holden do know is that Aristotle isn’t someone to mess with.
So who is it then?

Okay, so we get to this point and sigh. It’s gone on too long, the mystery isn’t that exciting. It’s this person or that person. Yep, I get it. But it’s someone, and I need to know who.
Like you, I think we have a number of options, and the most obvious is Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). He fits the description for the story of the Count of Monte Cristo the closest. But this is Y&R, and we’re not going with the obvious.
I’m leaning into the theory that it’s gone on this long for a reason, and it’s much deeper than we know. Aristotle claims to want to get Chancellor and give it to Billy (Jason Thompson). While Tucker could have reasons for that — Billy is Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) brother, it would really make Victor miffed if it happened, he’s on some sort of redemption tour — that almost seems too convenient.
For the length of time fans of The Young and the Restless have wondered, it needs to be a big twist. And I can’t help but wonder if the real person on the redemption tour is actually…Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). No one would think it was him. No one would suspect he was behind a deal with Billy. He has the money. He has the inside information both professionally and personally.
And I know what you’re going to say: I’ve pretty much guessed every one in Genoa City by now, but hey, one of them has to be right. Where are we at with this? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
You can watch the reveal on The Young and the Restless weekdays on CBS or stream on Paramount Plus.
