Sean Carrigan upped to contract status

Fans will be seeing a lot more of Y&R newcomer Sean Carrigan. The actor has signed a contract with The Young and the Restless. Carrigan debuted on the top-rated CBS soap in June.

Newcomer Sean Carrigan (Ben "Stitch" Rayburn) will be sticking around The Young and the Restless for some time to come. The actor has been signed to a contract.

"Thrilled to be on contract at #YR and excited for what is ahead for Stitch on @YandR_CBS," Carrigan shared on Twitter.

Prior to landing his role on Y&R, Carrigan appeared as a guest star in numerous primetime series, including Grey's Anatomy, Scrubs, and Criminal Minds. Carrigan has also appeared in the feature film John Carter.

In his non-acting time, Carrigan also enjoys boxing.

Carrigan debuted on The Young and the Restless on June 28, 2013.
