Grab your pens and calendars, because former The Young and the Restless and General Hospital star Kelly Sullivan (ex-Sage Warner; ex-Connie Falconeri) has shared the premiere date for her new TLC series, Too Close To Home.
The actress took to Twitter to announce that the dramatic, eight-part Tyler Perry series is scheduled to premiere on Monday, August 22, at 9PM ET/PT.
The first scripted series for the TLC cable network, Too Close To Home follows Anna (Danielle Savre), a young woman from a modest upbringing who discovers she may have quite a future in Washington DC's fast-paced political world. When Anna leaves her trailer park home in Alabama in a cloud of dust, she cuts all ties with her family and buries every element of her checkered past. Her friends in Washington think she comes from a wealthy family and know nothing of her real upbringing. Suddenly, the real Anna is exposed when she causes a major political scandal and makes national headlines for her part in an affair with one of the nation's most powerful players. With nowhere to turn, she's forced to find sanctuary in the only place she has left -- home.
Other leading roles include Sullivan, Brock O'Hurn, Brad Benedict, and Brooke Anne Smith. Heather Locklear and Matt Battaglia have joined the cast as guest stars, and Alpha Trivette, Trisha Rae Stahl, Robert Craighead, Annie Thrash, and Curran Walters are series regulars.
