Soap alum Terrell Tilford to appear on Supergirl

Supergirl has welcomed former The Young and the Restless, One Life to Live, Guiding Light, and Days of our Lives alum Terrell Tilford to the cast.

Get ready for some seriously super news, soap fans. Terrell Tilford -- known as The Young and the Restless' Dr. Barton Shelby, One Life to Live's Dr. Greg Evans, Days of our Lives' Dr. Bob Carrington, and Guiding Light's David Grant -- has been cast on the hit series Supergirl.

Tilford will play a shape-shifting White Martian named Armek in an upcoming second season episode of the supernatural series that stars Melissa Benoist as Kara Danvers (a.k.a. Supergirl).

The synopsis for Tilford's episode reveals his character appears in National City to take M'gann (Sharon Leal) back to their home planet to face her punishment as a traitor. To keep M'gann safe, Kara (Benoist) and J'onn (David Harewood) bring her to the DEO, where they quickly realize that Armek has shape-shifted into M'gann and could in fact be disguised as any of them...

Watch for Tilford's Supergirl appearance on Monday, February 6, at 8PM EST on The CW.
