Fans pretty much love everything that former The Young and the Restless star Eva Longoria (ex-Isabella Braña) does, and it looks like her new journey into motherhood will make the list, as well.

Longoria and her husband, José "Pepe" Bastón, welcomed their first son on June 19, and the actress is already making fans swoon, not only with an adorable photo of the baby -- whom they named Santiago Enrique -- but also with her kind words to the hospital staff that helped during the delivery.

"Starting off my Monday full of gratitude for this little blessing of a human! Pepe and I want to thank all the nurses at @cedarssinai who took such great care of my baby and I. You are all angels, sharing your knowledge and experience to make sure new mums feel good about going home and caring for this fragile life of a newborn. I love this picture as a reminder that no matter how big you grow Santiago, you will always be my baby!"

Throughout her pregnancy journey, Longoria regularly updated fans and joked a lot about her growing baby bump. In one video, she teased that she could no longer wear sweaters, explaining, "Can I just show you guys that my sweaters don't fit me anymore on my belly. I try to keep pulling them down, and they just go back up!" And, shortly before giving birth, she admitted how uncomfortable she was, writing: "Thank God there's a human coming out of this experience."

This has been an exciting year for Longoria. In addition to giving birth to her first baby, she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, launched a clothing line via HSN, stars in the upcoming remake of the classic 1980s film Overboard with Y&R's Alyvia Alyn Lind (Faith Newman), and has been hard at work on her upcoming primetime soap opera Grand Hotel, which will star General Hospital alum Bryan Craig.

Longoria starred on Y&R from 2001 to 2003. She later went on to find mainstream fame with a variety of television projects including Desperate Housewives, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Telenovela.

UPDATE (July 31, 2018): One month after Santiago's birth, Longoria finally shared the first photo showing her new son's face, featured on the cover of Hola! USA. "Here he is! Santiago Enrique Baston is waving hello at the whole world!" she wrote along with a screen capture of the magazine cover featuring the beautiful snap. "Couldn't wait to share this picture!"
