Fans of the The Young and the Restless' Tatyana Ali (ex-Roxanne) won't want to miss Lifetime's Christmas Hotel, which features the actress in a starring role.

Here's one more holiday film for soap fans to file away in their "must-watch" list for December: Lifetime's Christmas Hotel, which stars The Young and the Restless' Tatyana Ali (ex-Roxanne).

The holly and jolly film finds Ali stepping into the role of Erin Roberts, an ambitious hotelier who is up for a promotion to handle Windsor Hotel's chain in Rome. What she does not expect, however, is to become the lead of a new Windsor hotel in her hometown of Garland Grove.

Upon her arrival, Erin is hit with the reality of the townspeople not wanting a hotel to be built in their small town, but she somehow has to make the operation work for Windsor investors. Embroiled in the mess, Erin finds herself forced to work with the one person that leads the town's movement of not wanting the hotel built: her ex-boyfriend, Connor (Sean Patrick Thomas).

In the process of furthering her career in her hometown, Erin finds herself questioning her goals in life and nurturing her connection with Connor, which reignites her love for Christmas.

Christmas Hotel is set to premiere on Saturday, December 21, at 8PM ET on Lifetime. The original film is the directorial debut of Full House alum Marla Sokolof.

Ali is most known for playing the role of Ashley on the 1990s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air but appeared on Y&R from 2007 to 2013.

What do you think about the premise and casting of Lifetime's Christmas Hotel? Which holiday film are you most looking forward to watching this year? We want to hear from you -- and there are many ways you can share your thoughts.
