Mishael Morgan (Amanda Sinclair, The Young and the Restless) has been temporarily sidelined by an emergency surgery to save her vision -- which she says was obviously no fun but at least gives her a crazy story to tell!

Popular The Young and the Restless star Mishael Morgan (Amanda Sinclair) took to Instagram with the news that she had to undergo emergency eye surgery that has taken her "out of commission."

The actress shared two pictures of herself with a large bandage over her eye, along with the caption, "So this happened! Emergency eye surgery not fun; but saving my vision, rocking a new sexy pirate look and one crazy story for the books... pretty fun!"

The actress' post was immediately flooded with well wishes and questions about her injury, which prompted the actress to reveal that the reason for her surgery was a detached retina -- which did not happen on set.

All in all, Morgan's laid-back language indicates that she has a relaxed attitude about her misfortune, which gives concerned fans and Y&R stars hope that she'll be okay and that her vision will recover. And she pretty much confirmed that with the tag "blessed and grateful."
