Brief Character History
Diana's existance was first uncovered when her mother, Sheila, used her as a shield in Puerto Vista, South America. Sheila had kidnapped Ridge, and told Massimo she wanted him to know the pain of losing a child. He assumed she meant Ridge, but then she smiled, and said she wasn't refering to Nick or Ridge. Massimo was shocked when Sheila opened her coat to reveal the baby inside. She revealed that he had impregnated her long ago, and that she had named the baby Diana, after the goddess who protected the innocent. Massimo begged to see the baby closer, to hold his daughter just once. Sheila relented, and the moment he had the baby in hand, Massimo demanded Sheila be arrested. She immediately grabbed her daughter, and managed to get away. Sheila returned to the foundry, where she introduced Nick and Ridge to their baby half-sister, before she made her final escape.
Diana has not been seen or mentioned since leaving town with Sheila, and it was never proven whether she was really Massimo's daughter, or Sheila just claimed she was.
