Clothing designer lands role as teen romeo Hunter

Could the next Tad the Cad be roaming the corridors of Pine Valley High? It's possible, as All My Children has cast a new high school Romeo named Hunter.

AMC vet Sarah Michelle Gellar returns to the small screen in a CBS comedy pilot called Crazy Ones. Gellar will costar with Robin Williams, who makes his first return to television since his days as an alien on Mork & Mindy.

David E. Kelley, creator of Ally McBeal and the Practice, wrote the new half-hour comedy. Gellar plays Sydney Roberts, the daughter of Williams' character, and the comedy centers on the relationship between the father and daughter, who run an advertising agency together.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the Crazy Ones pilot is Geller's first television role since the cancellation of CW's Ringer. The former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star played AMC's Kendall Hart from 1993 to 1995, and near the show's ABC conclusion in 2011, Gellar's Buffy made a cameo appearance in Pine Valley.

Inside TV speculates that, by May, CBS will announce which pilots make it into the lineup for the fall season.
