Michael B. Jordan reportedly set to star in Creed sequel

Though the studio isn't commenting, Sylvester Stallone took to Instagram to report that All My Children vet Michael B. Jordan (ex-Reggie Montgomery) is headed back into the ring for Creed 2.

It looks like All My Children alum Michael B. Jordan (ex-Reggie Montgomery) will be hitting the gym again. The Oscar-nominated actor is set to appear in Creed 2, a sequel to the 2015 boxing drama starring Sylvester Stallone.

While MGM asserts that the project remains in the development phase, Stallone hinted on Instagram that things were moving forward.

"We are continuing to work on developing the sequel to Creed," a spokeswoman said.

"Getting stronger!!! 2018? #Creed2 #mgm #fitness #Rocky," Stallone wrote in a post on Instagram.

Creed, a spinoff and sequel to the Rocky film series, grossed $110 million at the U.S. box office and was a favorite with critics. Jordan played Adonis Creed, the son of Apollo Creed. Stallone reprised his iconic role of Rocky Balboa.
