GH and Y&R star Elizabeth Hendrickson's baby shower serves as AMC reunion

A baby shower brought The Young and the Restless' Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe Mitchell; ex-Maggie Stone, All My Children) and Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Lawson; ex-Annie Chandler, AMC) back together with Rebecca Budig (ex-Greenlee Smythe, AMC; ex-Hayden Barnes, General Hospital).

Long live the girls of Pine Valley! Some of All My Children's most popular actresses reunited to celebrate Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe Mitchell, The Young and the Restless; ex-Margaux Dawson, General Hospital; ex-Maggie Stone, AMC), who will be giving birth to her first child in the weeks ahead.

Melissa Claire Egan, who currently costars with Hendrickson on Y&R as Chelsea Lawson and used to costar with her on AMC as Annie Chandler, had the pleasure of throwing a baby shower for her longtime friend, and guess who was in attendance? Their former AMC pal Rebecca Budig (ex-Greenlee Smythe; ex-Hayden Barnes, GH).

Budig took to Instagram with a photo of herself with Egan, writing, "The girl I never get to see..thank you @missyclaireegan for throwing a sweet baby shower for @e.c.hendrickson LOVE seeing your beautiful face and laughing with you."

Hendrickson also took to social media to share details about her fun party, writing, "Showered with so much love by my nearest and dearest this weekend. I feel so very lucky and supported by this incredible tribe of women who surround me. This baby girl will have so many wonderful Aunties to look up to. I can't wait for them all to meet her and smother her with love."

Hendrickson announced back in October that after a difficult journey that included two miscarriages, she and her husband, Rob Meder, were expecting a baby girl in March of 2020. The actress is currently thirty-three weeks pregnant and reports that she is still feeling great.

"I am so thankful for having the most enjoyable pregnancy," the actress shared on Instagram. "I can't believe we will have her in our arms and finally meet face to face in just several weeks. I will miss her in my belly. Cherishing this time as much as I can. Every time we walk the Venice canals she dances for joy. This will continue to be our early morning walk to see the ocean when she arrives. I can't wait."

Also in attendance was Tamara Braun (ex-Reese Williams, AMC; ex-Carly Corinthos and Kim Nero, GH), who appeared with Hendrickson on both All My Children and General Hospital. "So wonderful to shower Lizzie with love last night," Braun captioned a photo that also included GH's Briana Nicole Henry (Jordan Ashford). "We cant wait to welcome sweet baby girl to the world!!"

As Soap Central previously reported, Y&R has written Hendrickson's real-life pregnancy into her storyline. Chloe and Kevin (Greg Rikaart) are expecting a baby, which sent the actress over the moon.

"I'm so thrilled that Y&R wrote my pregnancy into my storyline," she shared in January. "What a special way to document me and my baby girl's journey."

The baby shower that Egan threw for Hendrickson is the actress' second shindig in celebration of her pregnancy. She had a baby shower in December with her New York-based family and friends.
