Sarah Michelle Gellar back on TV

Former AMC star Sarah Michelle Gellar is making a return to television.

All My Children's Sarah Michelle Gellar (ex-Kendall Hart) found success post-daytime, landing roles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Ringer, and The Crazy Ones, and it looks like the actress is continuing her streak.

Deadline Hollywood reports that the New York native, who won a Daytime Emmy Award in 1995 for her work on AMC, has joined the voice cast of Disney XD's Star Wars Rebels.

She'll be "appearing" on season two of the series, which also boasts the voice talents of Gellar's husband, Freddie Prinze Jr., as well as David Oyelowo, Vanessa Marshall, Steve Blum, Tiya Sircar, and Taylor Gray.

What do you think of Gellar's new gig? What other projects and roles would you like to see the actress take on? Share your thoughts in the Comments section below, on our message boards, or by submitting Feedback.
