Newcomer Eric Nelsen has been cast in the role of a grown-up Adam "AJ" Chandler, III.
AJ Chandler was born on-screen on March 23, 2004. Three sets of twins played the role during the first few years of AJ's life, but during All My Children's final two years on ABC, Tate Berney held down the role of JR Chandler and Babe Carey's son -- and, of course, Adam Chandler's grandson.
Nelsen has a bit of soap opera experience under his belt. He appeared as Kevin Marler on Guiding Light in 2006. The actor will also be working with Oscar-nominated actor Liam Neeson in the upcoming movie A Walk Among The Tombstones.

As previously reported, when All My Children resumes production, time will have advanced five years into the future. The shift was required to account for numerous performers who were unable to be part of the show at its launch time.
Another former youngster has also been aged: Newcomer Denyse Tontz has been cast as now-teenage Miranda Montgomery.
