What to expect from Blue Lock chapter 311 (speculative)?

Blue Lock chapter 311 will be titled Side-B and will likely take the series to two days before the U-20 World Cup begins. There are two major possibilities for what will occur in the chapter based on the title. The first would be a glimpse into Ego's training program for the 23 players of Blue Lock, where they may be divided into different sides and take part in a set of various challenges.

The more likely scenario, however, is that the next installment will showcase Buratsuta's test to select his three special players who will take part in the World Cup. Since they are entering through a different route, these participants would literally represent Side-B, compared to the original side of players chosen by Jinpachi Ego.

Blue Lock chapter 310 recap

Blue Lock chapter 310, titled Give It Up, features the meeting between Nagi and Igaguri. As they took a walk out in the city, Igaguri revealed that he had learned about Nagi's presence in the arcade from his classmates, after which he was called a stalker.

After some light-hearted banter, Igaguri asked Nagi what he planned on doing with football, though the prodigy shared how he had no plans. Igaguri then told Nagi to continue playing, but that his motivations were different from Isagi’s. The monk expressed how he was frustrated but happy during his elimination from the Neo Egoist League since he had gone pro and received a bid.

Igaguri then asked Nagi whether he was fulfilled like him. Nagi tried to explain that people had to walk away from some things, but Igaguri immediately disagreed, stating that dreams have no limit. He shared an analogy in which dreams depended upon how big one's vessel is. While Igaguri's vessel was big enough for him to go pro, it was too small for him to become the best in the world.

However, he could sense that Nagi wasn't fulfilled yet. Following this, the Lazy Genius revealed the offer he received from Buratsuta, but explained that he had turned it down to not betray Blue Lock. This confused and angered Igaguri, who passionately told Nagi that his decision to pass during the Neo Egoist League's final match had already gone against everything the project stood for.

Igaguri called Nagi pathetic for not chasing his dream because of what others might think, further reprimanding him for not being honest with himself and for failing to prepare for the possibility that he might not achieve his dream. To end his monologue, Igaguri passionately grabbed Nagi's shirt, telling him that he'd aim to be the best no matter what if he had Nagi's talent.

Though he calmed down afterward and apologized for interfering too much, Nagi thanked him and began to leave. As Igaguri shouted after him, Nagi told him that he had gotten fired up again after their conversation.
