What to expect from Blue Lock chapter 312 (speculative)?

Early previews have revealed that Blue Lock chapter 312 will be titled "Toward the U-20 World Cup!" and will be set two hours before the opening match. Therefore, the next installment will likely reveal the regular players who will take part in the match against Nigeria.

Additionally, it may feature the family members of the participants eagerly making their way to the stands to support their loved ones. Chapter 312 will most probably also focus on Nagi, who is aiming to reignite his ego and will be watching his friends as a spectator.

This could finally give him the motivation he needs to take part in Buratsuta’s program in order to join the Japanese team. The chapter will likely end by giving a short glimpse into the first match against Nigeria, potentially showcasing the kick-off whistle.

Blue Lock chapter 311 recap

Blue Lock chapter 311, titled Side-B, starts with the main cast energetically training one day before the U-20 World Cup. As they faced each other in a practice match, Isagi received a pass from Hiori and scored a goal.

Immediately after, the protagonist informed Hiori that his crosses were too slow and would be countered at the world level. Karasu interjected and told Isagi he was asking too much. This resulted in an argument between the two, which was stopped by Aiku. Realising they had gotten too heated up, they apologized.

However, Rin then commented that Isagi had begun behaving as if he were the center of the team already, though he had yet to defeat him. Right then, Hirotoshi Buratsuta entered the facility and greeted the players. Just as everyone was wondering why he was there, the JFU Chairman revealed his secret deal with Ego.

Buratsuta shared that he would be selecting three players of his own into the final Japanese team lineup, and that Sae Itoshi would be one of them. For the other two, he had created an event known as Side-B, where 300 participants would face off against each other for a chance to join the team.

Among them, Ryosuke Kira was also present. Buratsuta announced that the winners of his event would be declared at around the same time as the World Cup finals and threatened the Blue Lock players to make it to that stage no matter what.

Right after he left, Isagi asked Ego what would happen, since the mentor had clearly stated that those who would be eliminated from Blue Lock would not get another chance in the national team. Ego confirmed he wouldn’t be using Buratsuta’s players and that, apart from Sae Itoshi, they wouldn’t be more skilled than Isagi and the others either.

At the same time, Ego revealed that all his grand plans for Blue Lock would sink, and he would be ousted if they lost the World Cup anyway. Nevertheless, he confidently expressed that he wouldn’t change his goal of creating the world’s best striker and taking Japan to the top. He then announced the starting lineup for the Nigeria match.

Blue Lock chapter 311 then shifted to two hours before the U-20 World Cup started. Fans were excitedly gathered, while a fired-up Nagi entered the arena along with them.
