Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is currently running full steam ahead, centering around the thrilling confrontation between the main cast and the Human God Trees. While the series has featured countless exciting revelations and developments, one particular moment in a recent chapter has convinced fans of the return of Sasuke’s Rinnegan.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 24 suggests that the key to reviving Sasuke’s Rinnegan is by using the Human God Trees’ Wood Release technique. This was confirmed during Jura’s battle against Kawaki, where Jura, who had lost his Rinnegan, was able to restore it.

Although Sasuke himself does not have access to this nature type, his current disposition as a tree and connection to Hidari may hint at a potential return of his fearsome Dojutsu.

How Sasuke’s Rinnegan could make a return in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex

One of Boruto’s most shocking moments occurred in the first part, during the battle between the main cast and Isshiki. While the antagonist was tired due to the relentless efforts of Naruto, Sasuke, Boruto, and Kawaki, Momoshiki took over the protagonist’s body and pierced the Shadow Hokage’s left eye, destroying his Rinnegan in the process.

This unbelievable development was seen as a passing of the torch by the fandom, making most believe that the strongest figures in the series were finally being pushed back in order to make way for the next generation.

However, with the introduction of the Human God Trees and the overpowering strength of their leader, Jura, it may be pivotal for Sasuke to return in order for the world to be saved. While he is currently incapacitated as a tree after being bitten by Code’s Claw Grimes, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex has revealed that using the Thorn Soul Bulb of the Human God Tree could revive such victims.

Additionally, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 24 followed the exhilarating battle between Jura and Kawaki. When they were exchanging blows, Kawaki managed to injure one of Jura’s Rinnegans and push him back. However, the antagonist could easily recover from his state and even regenerated his eye by using Wood Release.

By manifesting a tree and branches, Jura could recover his lost parts and essentially return to the fight with no wounds. This is a level of healing that is unheard of in the Naruto universe, and may also be the key to Sasuke recovering his Rinnegan.

It is worth noting that the constitution of the tree Sasuke is stuck in and the Human God Trees are the same, and Sasuke’s left eye is currently absorbed within the wood branch. Hence, should Boruto defeat Hidari and return his Thorn Soul Bulb, Sasuke may be revived with his eye back in place.

Apart from this, another solution lies within the chakra template connection between Sasuke and Hidari. While Hidari is able to copy all of Sasuke’s techniques, it remains unclear whether it works the other way around. If this is possible, Sasuke may be able to use Wood Release upon his return and restore his Rinnegan.
