What to expect from Chainsaw Man chapter 213 (speculative)?

Chainsaw Man chapter 213 could go one of two possible routes. Firstly, it could reveal the Death Devil and Miri’s plan to take down the War Devil, as well as Denji’s involvement in it. Alternatively, the installment could shed light on Yoru’s efforts to build her strength by forming an army of devils.

Regardless of what is set to occur, Chainsaw Man chapter 213 is sure to test Denji, as he is finally pushed into making the difficult decision of whom to support.

Chainsaw Man chapter 212 recap

Chainsaw Man chapter 212, titled Really Good Girl, continued with Denji being flabbergasted on seeing the Death Devil’s panties. Although Miri tried explaining the three strategies that they had devised to counter the Death Devil, Denji did not hear anything until the very end, when he was told that humanity’s fate rested on his shoulders.

Denji then went to the nurse’s office to take a quick breather. There, the protagonist began sorting out his complex emotions, realizing that war would break out if he didn’t deal with Asa and Yoru. During this, he recollected his kiss with Yoru as well as his glimpse of the Death Devil’s undergarments.

Just as the protagonist started getting excited, he was stunned by Fumiko Mikune, who called out to him from under his bed. She told Denji not to react and revealed that the Death Devil was using him to defeat Yoru, after which the Prophecy of Nostradamus would be triggered.

Despite Fumiko’s pleas for Denji not to trust the Death Devil, the protagonist continued believing she was a good girl since she had carried him there. However, Fumiko shared that the Death Devil was far from innocent, having killed both her colleagues and herself multiple times.

While Denji wondered how that was possible, Fumiko explained that she had a contract with the STD Devil, allowing any human she slept with to become Fumiko Mifune in mind and body. Due to her active efforts, there were Fumikos all over the world exchanging information, though several had fallen recently.

Fumiko shared the crisis mankind was going through, with death rates increasing due to wars, diseases, and more. She cared little if humans lived forever due to Yoru, as they were already fighting nonstop wars. Additionally, Fumiko also theorized that Yoru hadn’t turned Denji into a weapon since she was in love with him.

In a world without death, Fumiko revealed her belief that Denji and the War Devil could live happily. She also hoped to gain Yoru’s mercy in the process. As the final step toward changing his mind, Fumiko gave Denji a nude photo of herself before leaving, convincing him that she was a good girl.
