What Can You Expect from Hana-Kimi Episode 3?

Hana-Kimi Episode 3 is going to have a lot to do with character development as we continue on from the increased tension seen in the previous two episodes. At the end of episode two, Mizuki was becoming more and more suspicious of who she was especially since she made such a strong effort to get Sano excited about that high jump.

Hana-Kimi Episode 3 needs to focus on how Mizuki's signing Sano up for a track meet caused him to lose confidence after getting injured previously. His reluctance to return to the sport stems from a traumatic injury that shattered his confidence.

Nakatsu gives me many laughs with the confusion he is having with the way he feels about Sano and the way their friendship is progressing. The more Nakatsu likes Sano, the more awkward Nakatsu seems when it comes to being funny. On the other hand, Umeda is the quirky school doctor who knows about Nakatsu's crush and enjoys watching the outcome of all the craziness.

What Happened in Hana-Kimi Episodes 1 and 2?

In the first episode, we get a sense of what Mizuki is up against, having to keep up her disguise while living with a group of teenage dudes. Mizuki found out that Sano would be her roommate. The premiere episode was about how she handled trying to keep her secret safe while also dealing with various situations.

The intro episode has many characters being introduced. One character that was introduced was Shuichi Nakatsu, who is Mizuki's hyper, outgoing classmate. Another character was Nakao Senri, who is a big star at the school, and right away, he sees the new transfer student as competition. Also, Umeda (the school doctor) noticed Mizuki's secret immediately, but he chose to stay quiet about it.

When Episode 2 started, it got even crazier for Mizuki as she was running from place to place trying to get through her morning rituals after avoiding a bunch of stuff during that first day. Near the end of this episode, there is a huge reveal about Sano, where Mizuki discovers that he has stopped his quest to jump high due to a sports injury he got recently.

Mizuki was fired up about helping her favorite track star, so rather than ask him what he had thought, she went behind his back and signed him up for an obscure track meet. This resulted in the duo's first real fight; Mizuki was all in Sano's face after he confronted her about meddling in his life.

At the end of Episode 2 of Hana-Kimi, lots of characters have started questioning Mizuki's identity. Instead of just being the typical 'will they figure it out' story, the creators have taken it into a much more complicated 'who knows what' story. So, in Hana-Kimi Episode 3 will continue in this vein that was set up by those episodes.
