In My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2, Koichi Haimawari returns to the streets where they don't care about licenses, but do care about doing things in the shadows without anyone noticing. The spinoff anime proved that underground protection work has its own stakes, its own rules, and its own brand of justice that doesn't need approval stamps.

The Season 2 debut is set for January 5, 2026, and contains 13 episodes; a new episode will be released every week on Mondays at 10 PM (JST) from January 5, 2026, to March 30, 2026. The series finale will be the last show of the Spring 2026 anime season.

The very first episode is titled "In the Naniwa Business District!" The storyline follows Koichi and Pop Step on a business trip to Naniwa to team up with locals who are hopeful to develop partnerships with their idols.

Along the way, Koichi and Pop Step meet the famous Pro Hero Fat Gum and local celebrity Monica Kani while they themselves are trying to get away from people trying to target them for drug-related crimes.

Hideyuki Furuhashi is the author of this series, and Betten Court illustrated it. Volume 1 covers up to Chapter 28. You can probably expect Volume 2 to have about 60 chapters based on how many episodes are in Season 1 of Vigilantes.

My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2 will have a little different focus from the first; it will be much heavier in terms of Koichi's challenges and the development of his relationships with licensed heroes, which will help clear the fog surrounding the gap between legal heroes and their underground counterparts.

English Dub Information

At the moment, Crunchyroll hasn’t released any info about when you’ll be able to watch an English dub for My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2. Season 1 had its first English version released several weeks after the subtitled version was made available, and it’s probably going to be the same deal with the upcoming season.

For those of you out there who prefer your anime to be dubbed rather than subbed, you can expect to see it sometime in early 2026, but don’t worry, as we all know that official announcements are usually made at least a few months before the actual content is released.

My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2 comes out just as the primary anime is finishing its run. With this being the case, it will be easy for fans to keep track of what is happening in the franchise's expanded universe.

The winter 2026 anime season has tons of popular shows being released, but My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2 is different from them all since it is a continuation of an existing property.
