One Piece is full of powerful characters with unique abilities, but only a few have Conqueror’s Haki. This type of Haki is the rarest of the three kinds. It can’t be learned or trained like the others. Only those born with a strong will and the spirit of a king can use it. People who have this power are often natural leaders. They can knock out weaker opponents just by being near them. They can also coat their attacks in Haki to deal massive damage.

This list ranks the top ten strongest Conqueror’s Haki users we’ve seen so far in the One Piece anime. These are the characters who not only possess this rare skill but have also shown great control and power while using it.

10. Donquixote Doflamingo

Doflamingo was once a Warlord and controlled Dressrosa by scaring and tricking people. He was born as a Celestial Dragon but lost that status. But his thirst for power was never quenched. He used the String-String Fruit to control people, slice buildings, and even repair his organs.

Doflamingo revealed his Conqueror’s Haki when he was 10 years old. His father, his brother, and he were strung up by the people living in North Blue, who were chasing them. In a fit of rage and while declaring that he would kill them, he knocked all of them out with his Haki. Down the line, after becoming a Shichibukai, he knocked out a lot of the G-5 Marines when he was on Punk Hazard.

This showed he was more than just a skilled Devil Fruit user. His Haki added another layer to his threat level. While he may not use it often in battle, this moment in One Piece proved that he had the qualities of a conqueror.

9. Charlotte Katakuri

Katakuri is the second son of Big Mom. He is the second-in-command of the Big Mom Pirates. His brothers and sisters all love him as the finest of them. Katakuri has very powerful Observation Haki, which allows him to see a bit ahead into the future. He even consumed the Mochi-Mochi Fruit, which allows him the ability to form and manipulate mochi.

On Whole Cake Island, we see Katakuri use his Conqueror’s Haki against Luffy. In the fight, his younger sister, Charlotte Flampe, attacked Luffy. This attack really affected Luffy, as he took extra damage from Katakuri because of it. Disappointed in his sister, Katakuri unleashes his Conqueror’s Haki so that she does not interfere anymore.

While some might consider it foolish, Katakuri stabbed himself with his trident to make things fair for Luffy. It proved that Katakuri wasn’t just about speed and prediction but was honorable as well. In One Piece, few enemies have pushed Luffy as far as Katakuri did.

8. Big Mom

Big Mom, also known as Charlotte Linlin, was one of the Four Emperors. She ruled Totto Land and aimed to create a world where all races could live together. Her Devil Fruit allowed her to take people’s souls and create living objects called Homies.

Big Mom used Conqueror’s Haki several times, knocking out the guests who came for Sanji and Pudding’s wedding. And when the portrait of Carmel broke, she dropped more people. But her most impressive use came during her battle with Kaido at Onigashima. Their clash was so powerful that it split the sky. She also knows how to infuse her attacks with it, like when she used it against Page One.

This is something only the top Conqueror’s Haki users can do. She was so strong that it took Trafalgar Law and Eustass Kid to take her down. One Piece demonstrated to us in that sky-splitting moment that Big Mom’s power wasn’t only from her Devil Fruit. Her Haki was just as terrifying.

7. Monkey D. Luffy

Luffy is the son of Monkey D. Dragon and the leader of the Straw Hat Pirates. He grew from a reckless boy into one of the Four Emperors. He gained the Gum-Gum Fruit, which later revealed itself as a powerful Mythical Zoan Fruit.

Luffy awakened Conqueror’s Haki during the war at Marineford. He unconsciously used it and knocked out a bunch of Marines. After the timeskip, on Fish-Man Island, he used it and knocked out 50,000 members of the New Fish-Man Pirates. In his first clash with Kaido, even after getting knocked out by Kaido’s Thunder Bagua, Luffy still used his Conqueror’s Haki to knock out the underlings who wanted to move his body.

Over time, he improved it. Luffy also picked up the ability to coat his body and attacks in Conqueror’s Haki while he was fighting Kaido in Wano. This allowed him to deal damage without physical contact. His punches became strong enough to match Kaido’s. In One Piece, this moment was a major step forward.

6. Silvers Rayleigh

Rayleigh was the first mate of the Roger Pirates and the right-hand man of the Pirate King. He is called the “Dark King” and is at the level of an expert for all three types of Haki. Rayleigh is strong, cool, and awesome, even in his old age. He actually trained Luffy during the time skip, which caused the latter’s rise in power.

Rayleigh is a master of all three forms of Haki. In One Piece, Rayleigh used Conqueror’s Haki at the Human Auctioning House. After Luffy attacked a World Noble, Rayleigh arrived and knocked most of the people present out. This was also the first time he met Luffy.

This moment was one of the first times that viewers got to see this form of Haki and what it could really do. Instead of raising his fists and swinging, he just put them down with his will. Plus, this version of Rayleigh is not his prime version. Fans can speculate on how powerful he would be when the Pirate Age was fresh.

5. Kaido

Kaido was the “Strongest Creature in the World’ upon his introduction. He was the captain of the Beast Pirates and used fear to reign over Wano. Physical attacks were nearly useless against him. And in his Dragon form, he was even deadlier. He thought only the best should survive and sought worthy opponents to prove his strength.

In his fight against Big Mom, their Haki tore through the sky, revealing their true power. Kaido used advanced Conqueror’s Haki throughout his fight with Luffy. He coated his club in Haki and dealt blows that didn’t need to make direct contact. In One Piece, Kaido stood as a wall that Luffy had to break through to become stronger.

It took Luffy losing again and again and again before he could fight Kaido on an even level. Luffy’s Gear 5 was too much for even the powerful Kaido to handle. But their battle is among some of the best fights in One Piece.

4. Shanks

Shanks is the captain of the Red-Haired Pirates and one of the current Four Emperors. He is one of the few top-tier fighters in One Piece who doesn’t utilize a Devil Fruit. Instead, he is used to show how strong Haki can be. Because of this, he ends up with some of the best Haki abilities in One Piece.

From the time he scared the Sea King who ate his arm to the time he came aboard Whitebeard’s ship, where he knocked out the weaker members of the crew, Shanks has been dominating with his Haki. In a recent anime scene, Shanks used his Conqueror’s Haki from his ship far away to scare off Admiral Ryokugyu, who was attacking Wano after Kaido’s defeat. The Admiral felt the pressure and left without a fight.

Shanks has a technique that allows him to stop others from using their Observation Haki to see into the future. As a Yonko, it was kind of necessary for Shanks to have Conqueror’s Haki. But his mastery and skill with it put him in a league of his own.

3. Monkey D. Garp

Garp is Luffy’s grandfather and one of the most famous Marines in One Piece. He is known as the “Hero of the Marines” and once fought Gol D. Roger many times. Garp never ate a Devil Fruit but became a legend through pure strength and skill.

In his fight at Hachinosu, Garp used a move called “Galaxy Impact.” The punch destroyed a large part of the battlefield and shocked everyone. The attack seemed to be powered by Conqueror’s Haki combined with Armament Haki, proving that Garp still had the spirit of a warrior. Even against Kuzan, a former Admiral, Garp used an advanced application of his Haki to grab him by the face and smash him into the floor.

Even in old age, he remained one of the strongest characters in One Piece. It should also be remembered that it was Garp and Roger who caused the Rocks Pirates to divide in the first place. Garp and Roger were on the same side, while Rocks D. Xebec, Whitebeard, Kaido, and Big Mom were on the other side. Winning against a crew like that is proof of Garp and Roger’s power.

2. Whitebeard

Whitebeard, whose real name was Edward Newgate, was known as the strongest man in the world. He had the Tremor-Tremor Fruit, which let him cause powerful earthquakes. Long ago, he was part of the Rocks Pirates. He eventually created his loyal crew and treated his men as family after the Rocks Pirates separated.

His battle with Gol D. Roger made history in One Piece. When he clashed with Roger, their Conqueror’s Haki split the sky. Their mastery of Conqueror’s Haki was so great that weapons never touched. And this was not the first time they clashed. He fought the Pirate King Roger many times, too, so he definitely is strong.

He also once fought Shanks, the Red Haired Pirates' captain. Though it did not seem like he was very serious in the battle, their clash caused the clouds to part, and this was while he was sick. Even though in the battle at Marineford, he mostly used his Devil Fruit, fans wonder how different the outcome would be if he were in the prime of his life.

1. Gol D. Roger

Roger was the Pirate King and the only pirate to have been to Laugh Tale. He had no Devil Fruit, but his strength and determination were greater than any other. He captained one of the strongest crews in One Piece history, and just before he was due to be executed, he inspired the Great Pirate Era.

Most of Roger’s battles were not shown in One Piece but became tales of legend. The one that was shown to viewers was the one against Whitebeard. Kozuki Oden initially challenged him, but in one swing, Roger sent him flying. And then Whitebeard came in from the skies. When Roger fought Whitebeard, their Conqueror’s Haki shook the earth and sky. Their blades never touched, yet the shockwaves destroyed everything around them.

He also clashed with his Marine counterpart, Monkey D. Garp, many times. Their escapade at God Valley made two legends more iconic in One Piece lore.

Conclusion

One Piece continues to show us how powerful and rare Conqueror’s Haki is. These ten characters all used it in amazing ways in the anime, proving their place at the top. As One Piece goes on, new fights and new heroes might appear. But these legends will always be remembered for their strength and spirit.
