One Punch Man Season 3 Episode 7 is finally going to stop talking. The six previous episodes have tested people's patience by showing nothing but strategy meetings and character introductions. Finally, the infiltration into the Monster Association's base begins

One Punch Man Season 3 Episode 7, titled "Counterstrike," will make its debut on November 23, 2025. With the S-Class heroes split into several teams and in the underground, we have Saitama meandering through the sewers without any clue of the coordinated attack. In the United States, Hulu is the main streaming service, with episodes streaming the same day as their live Japanese release. Outside of the US, episodes will be available via Disney+ and Crunchyroll.

What to Expect from One Punch Man Season 3 Episode 7

In One Punch Man Season 3 Episode 7, "Counterstrike," we see a clear departure from the previous narrative structure. The episode pivots from strategizing to actual combat, with heroes stepping on the offensive to attack the villains.

One Punch Man Season 3 Episode 7 claims it will have more action than previous episodes. Episode six was pretty much devoted to dialogue and strategic discussions about leadership and morale, and it was criticized for moving more slowly. "Counterstrike" certainly helps the viewer recover their time and energy of watching a "battle" episode.

Garou's storyline continues to be developed during this arc, with a plot line set after his defeat of Orochi. Garou is depicted as being captured by the Monster Association and having sought purpose in a home as he faces imprisonment ahead of the Monster Association's future plans. Meanwhile, we continue to follow Saitama operating in the sewer system as a separate and virtually independent character.

What Happened in One Punch Man Season 3 Episode 6

During episode 6, titled "Motley Heroes," the heroes readied themselves to undertake work to the final step with regard to preparing an attack in an attack on the enemy base. The S-Class heroes met to exchange ideas in an effort to finalize a plan that would allow for the attack against the Monster Association.

Child Emperor had very important information regarding the enemy base. He sat us down to explain that he had satellite technology to confirm and estimate that there were around 500 monsters inside the enemy base. There were many Demon and Dragon-level threats in the base that increased the risk threshold of this mission.

In this episode, we saw how fractured the S-Class showed up as a unit. Even when working towards the same objective together, the heroes were all still their own individuality. Tatsumaki wanted to take the enemy on by herself. Flashy Flash operated this way as well.

King's entrance dramatically changed the meeting's atmosphere. All heroes showed immediate respect for his reputation, including the typically arrogant Tatsumaki. His supposed aura continued to maintain his status despite his actual lack of combat ability.

Since there were questions regarding Bang and Bomb, they were removed from the main team. Child Emperor's previous experiences with Metal Knight made him question their allegiance, especially concerning probable traitors. Garou raised concerns over Bang and Bomb's trustworthiness due to their connection to Garou.

Dr. Kuseno gave Genos a major upgrade. The new form had never been seen before and granted tremendous power but also had limits. It could only be up fully for ten seconds or risk a core explosion.

Fubuki and her group arrived at Saitama's apartment. She came to Saitama for help, but by the time she got there, her plan was already pointless. Upon feeling subterranean tremors from his fellow heroes fighting underground, Saitama left the apartment building. Saitama began to independently seek out the location of the chaos inside the sewer system, unaware he was approaching the Monster Association headquarters.

One Punch Man Season 3 Episode 7 comes at an important juncture. The long setup for the action has finally exceeded the annoyance of setting up.
