Sakamoto Days chapter 219, titled Fake, continues following the battle between Sakamoto and X’s Organization, where the protagonist is holding back the villains from chasing after Shin and Atari. The installment kicks off with Kumanomi gaining Uzuki’s permission to kill Shin, after which she separates from her group.

However, Sakamoto intervened to stop her. Taking advantage of the distraction, Gozu and Torres started leaving from the other side. Sakamoto ingeniously used Kumanomi’s gloves to control a crane outside the building to crash into the antagonists, thwarting their efforts.

Immediately after, Sakamoto’s hands started shivering. Gozu noticed this and expressed how weaklings had no place fighting them. In response, Sakamoto explained that he didn’t choose his battles based on strength. Upon hearing this, Gozu was excited to kill his opponent and fired a lightning bolt.

Right before it struck Sakamoto, the protagonist took cover inside a nearby car and drove it through Gozu. As Oki looked on at the fallen assassin, he declared that the battle was over, while Torres insulted Sakamoto for not enjoying his life with his family.

Uzuki then approached Sakamoto, saying that Rion would be sad. The protagonist remained defiant, accusing Uzuki of killing Rion and using her to justify his crimes. Enraged, Uzuki activated Rion’s killing pathway and stabbed Sakamoto through his chest.

Even after suffering a seemingly fatal blow, Sakamoto smiled and told Uzuki that the real Rion’s attack wouldn’t have left time for last words. The chapter ends with Sakamoto collapsing to the ground after calling Uzuki a fake.
