Due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, The Bold and the Beautiful began broadcasting special throwback episodes until it was safe for the cast and crew to return to work. This week was dubbed "Fan Choice" with episodes that fans requested -- including the very first episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, an infamous haircut scene, and some mistaken mask identity sexy time. Oops! A complete list of episodes that aired during this week can be found here.

This episode originally aired on March 23, 1987 and was the very first episode of The Bold and the Beautiful. In the episode, viewers got to meet the Forrester family and quickly learned that, while fashionable, the Forrester family had a whole lot of drama going on.

An assistant interrupted Ridge working with a model to tell him he had a phone call. Ridge took the phone in the back and was greeted by a woman named Caroline, who asked if they were still on for that evening. Ridge leered that it depended on what Caroline had in mind. Caroline admitted to Ridge that she missed him; they agreed to meet at her place, since her father had plans. Caroline told Ridge, "Love you," but he didn't say it back.

Sally drunkenly combed through the nearly unconscious Stephanie's hair with her fingers, then decided to pick up a large flower pot from a table. After some configuring, Sally dumped the pot out over Stephanie's head, drenching her. Sally mumbled that good head-dressers always cut hair when it was wet; Stephanie agreed. As Sally chopped away at Stephanie's hair, Stephanie thought Sally had a flair for barbering. Sally opined that if she couldn't get another gig in the rag trade, she could be a mortician.
