Sure, we know The Bold and the Beautiful is 30 minutes in length compared to the other soaps, and the cast is plenty full these days. But we’d love to see the program bring back this trio of guys to add to the show’s drama!

The Bold and the Beautiful, come on home

R.J. Forrester: We haven’t seen Joshua Hoffman (R.J.) on-screen in several months. But the show could always call back the player, as it recently did with Matthew Atkinson (Thomas). R.J.'s parents, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), are due for a big family celebration in light of Ridge saving Brooke’s life over in Italy.

Maybe R.J. could come back for a vow renewal ceremony? Also, R.J. was involved with Luna (Lisa Yamada) until she showed her true nature. R.J. was furious that his cousin Zende (Delon de Metz) had been intimate with Luna. But it turned out there was far more to that story. Luna orchestrated the whole situation! When she saw her plans to be wealthy jeopardized, Luna killed both Tom (Clint Howard) and Hollis (Hollis W. Chambers) to keep her secret safe.

Perhaps R.J. could help get Luna to start abiding by the law? Luna was focused on R.J. for quite a while until she turned her eye towards Will (Crew Morrow). Maybe Will's cousin R.J. could come home and keep him from getting into trouble.

Tangled family tree

Eric Forrester III, a.k.a. Eric Sharpe: Who’s that you say? About 25 years ago, Rick (Jacob Young; Justin Torkildsen) and Amber (Adrienne Frantz) were having a baby. Sadly, the infant died after birth. Amber managed to get her claws on the little boy that her cousin Becky (Marissa Tait) had given birth to and passed off that newborn as Rick's son, Eric Forrester III. The truth, as it tends to do, came out. Alas, poor Becky died. Enter little Eric’s biological dad, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan)! A fierce custody battle ensued over little Eric, as Rick, Amber, Deacon, and C.J. (Mick Cain) all vied for custody of the boy.

While Deacon’s parental storylines have mostly focused on his relationship with Hope (Annika Noelle), his daughter, Deacon does have a son out there. The last time we saw him was in 2010 when Deacon was on Y&R, and actor Field Cate played the part. Cate appears to have stopped acting, but he might be persuaded to come back to soaps!

Deacon and Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) have been dealing with her relatives, including Sheila's granddaughter, Luna. Maybe it’s time to bring back little Eric?

Jack, be nimble

Jack Marone: The recent return of Nick (Jack Wagner) to the canvas got fans online talking about his and Taylor’s (Rebecca Budig) son, Jack. Like many soap opera characters, Jack has a complicated lineage. Taylor had fertility issues, so they used a donor -- Brooke!

Unable to bond with the baby, Taylor gave the boy to Brooke to raise. Jack and RJ are both brothers and cousins, as their fathers, Nick and Ridge, are brothers. Adding Jack and RJ to the mix could lead to sibling rivalry, which is a hallmark of B&B going back to the days when Ridge and Thorne vied for the affections of Caroline Spencer (Joanna Johnson).

Jack was last played on The Bold and the Beautiful by twin siblings Frank and Morgan Gingerich. It's been about 7 years since either one had a screen credit, but perhaps an invitation to return to daytime would bring one or both of them out of retirement!

Jack might want to learn about his other mother (Taylor), given his origins. This could prompt more conflict between Brooke and Taylor, in addition to the drama that Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) always brings to their lives.
