Fans of The Bold and the Beautiful know that their favorite show pairs well with Italy and location shoots. CBS just announced they’re getting both.
The Bold and the Beautiful goes to Italy
CBS announced today that four of the cast members from The Bold and the Beautiful will be traveling to Italy May 28th to 31st to go on location shoots in Naples and Capri.
Per CBS, Multi-Emmy® Award winning television series, The Bold and the Beautiful, will film in Naples and Capri, Italy, under the creative leadership of executive producer and head writer, Bradley Bell.
The Bold and the Beautiful has immense popularity in Italy, which has endured for decades. The series has filmed there more than in any other foreign country. Five previous Italian shoots have taken place in Lake Como (1997), Venice (1999), Portofino (2002), the region of Puglia (2012) and Rome (2023).
The Bold and the Beautiful is broadcast in Italy on Mediaset’s Canale 5, under the title Beautiful, where it has been a pillar of the channel’s daytime line-up for many years. The series is broadcast in over 100 countries and territories worldwide and has also filmed abroad in Abu Dhabi and Dubai (2014), Australia (2007 and 2017), Denmark (2015), France (2014), Mexico (2011), Monaco (2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2022 and 2023) and The Netherlands (2014). Additionally, the cast has traveled to do press tours, appearances and fan experiences in South Africa, Bulgaria, Iceland, Finland, Belgium, Canada, and Greece.
Multiple episodes filmed in Naples and Capri will air in the U.S. this year in July. Audiences in Italy will see the episodes in 2026.
Four B&B cast members will go to Italy
Cast members set to travel to Italy are Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan), John McCook (Eric Forrester), Thorsten Kaye (Ridge Forrester), as well as Jack Wagner, who played Nick Marone for many years on the series, and has recently returned to the cast. The Bold and the Beautiful will hire local cast and crew, collaborating with Rome-based Cannizzo Produzioni production company.
Fans of the series will be interested to learn that there will be an opportunity to meet the cast at a special public event in Naples at the Castel Nuovo on Saturday, May 31st, from 2 to 5 p.m.
Currently in its 38th season, The Bold and the Beautiful is the world’s most-watched daily series, seen by millions of viewers in over 100 countries. Katherine Kelly Lang, John McCook, and the series’ executive producer and head writer, Bradley Bell, have been with the series since Episode One.
There is so much great news for fans of CBS daytime today. From the renewal of the second season for Beyond the Gates, to the record-breaking longest run of 39 seasons and 1,500 consecutive weeks of being #1 in daytime television, the shows and viewers have plenty to celebrate.
