The Bold and the Beautiful cast is starting a brand-new life on a brand-new set after nearly four decades in the same building as its sister soap, The Young and the Restless. For Sean Kanan, who has played Deacon Sharpe on and off since 2000, the new start came with a lot of nerves.

"I feel a little bit like an elementary school kid about to go to the upper grade school," Kanan said in an Instagram video as he drove to work. "I have no idea what to expect or what it looks like, but everybody seems to really like it. I love new beginnings. I am always ready to embrace and try something new, so I get to put my money where my mouth is today, so we'll see what happens."

Kanan then had the task of finding his brand-new parking spot. He checked in at security and learned his spot was number 98. After getting directions, he located the spot and discovered that he got to park right next to Thorsten Kaye's Jeep. It looks like Ridge already knows his way around, while "Sharpe" is just getting started.

The Bold and the Beautiful is expanding in this brand-new studio at Sunset Studios. As Don Diamont (Bill Spencer) explained in a feature for Entertainment Tonight, B&B's Television City studio was 30,000 square feet, and that included hair, makeup, wardrobe, and other behind-the-scenes spots. The new studio is 60,000 square feet.

"It's a night and day difference in that regard," Diamont said. He also described his last day at Television City as an emotional one, saying he "started bawling" as he realized he had just taped his final scenes in B&B's old home.

"My entire adult life was spent in TV City, so I get emotional when I talk about it," Diamont admitted.

Kimberlin Brown (Sheila Carter) concurred. Both performers were part of the Y&R cast before joining The Bold and the Beautiful, so they both have an attachment to Television City that goes back to the late 20th century.

The new space allows for larger sets. Old favorites like Il Giardino now have more tables and a larger bar. The stars also took fans for a virtual tour of the wardrobe room and other areas we don't see on screen as they both marveled at all the space they now have to bring B&B to life every day.
