Brooke and Ridge's son, RJ, is headed back to The Bold and the Beautiful and Los Angeles in the form of Brayan Nicoletti. The last time we saw RJ was in 2024 when he was played by Joshua Hoffman.
A new younger set on The Bold and the Beautiful
RJ will be joining a whole new generation of Forresters and Spencers, according to TV Insider. Crew Morrow and Laneya Grace are already on contract as Will Spencer and Electra Forrester. Now, Nicoletti will be bringing RJ to life, and Sydney Bullock has been signed to a contract as Dylan.
"We’re at a great time in the show where you have that next generation to play with their core family members," Bell said.
John McCook's (Eric Forrester) wife, Laurette, posted a photo of Nicoletti with McCook and Thorsten Kaye (Ridge Forrester), taken at the soap's annual holiday party. Some fans had speculated that he could be the new RJ, and now the news has been confirmed. Nicoletti's previous credits include the films No Boys Allowed and Woodbridge.
Where has RJ been?
RJ is the only child that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and her destiny, Ridge Forrester, have together. He was born on screen in 2004, so he might be one of the few characters who is the right age and hasn't been SORAS'd.
After RJ learned that is girlfriend, Luna (Lisa Yamada), was not at all who she appeared to be at first (and that's an understatement), RJ mysteriously disappeared from the canvas. He has barely been mentioned, and the only thing we can assume is that he left town again, after only being back from Europe for a year.
Hoffman played the role from 2023 to 2024, after the young adult character had been traveling for several years. Before that, a teenage RJ was played by Anthony Turpel from 2016 to 2018.

When RJ makes his way back to the Los Angeles fashion scene, he will learn that Luna is now dead, and the woman who killed her (allegedly by accident) is living in Will Spencer's beach house and could be as crazy as Luna (the jury is still out on that). Will Dylan become RJ's new love interest or will RJ be more wary of young women after the Luna debacle?
