What to Expect on The Bold and the Beautiful
Friday's episode closed with an icy encounter at Spencer Publications. The room shifted when Katie revealed she planned to call her fashion house Logan. Donna tried her best to play peacemaker. Brooke didn't take the news lightly. Not at all. She demanded that her little sister pluck a new name for her endeavor and back off on the name she was synonymous with in the fashion industry. Things are going to get much worse between Brooke and Katie before they get better.
Monday, Brooke and Katie face off again as Brooke forbids Katie from using the name Logan for her company. Katie is determined to prove herself. There's little to no chance of her bowing down at the altar of Brooke Logan. She wants to prove herself and step out of the shadow that's been cast over her for decades. This is Katie's chance to showcase her talents beyond making Brooke more famous and the Forresters more money.
After the showdown at Spencer, Carter gives Brooke and Ridge legal advice. Previews suggest that Carter and Liam will compete simultaneously to secure the trademark for the name. It's unclear which company will come out on top, but it's beginning to look like Katie stepping out on her own will cause a significant family fracture. Nothing will ever be the same.
The quest to secure the Logan name might be the very thing that breaks this family apart. There is no resolution in sight. The Forresters are influential in the fashion game, so Katie may be DOA when it comes ot the launch of her .
Dylan, the enigma
Elsewhere on Monday's new episode, Will tries to convince Electra that Dylan is homeless. After receiving an HOA alert that Dylan's car was parked without the proper pass, Will went to resolve the issue. However, once at her vehicle, he concluded that she had been living in it. Without warning her in advance, he convinced Electra to invite Dylan to stay with them, revealing the truth only later.
Dylan's presence in their lives has dramatically increased since she revealed herself as Luna's killer. It was odd the way she confessed through anonymous texts, and it was even weirder the way she paraded to Steffy and Finn's house to admit guilt to them as well. That looked to be the end of Dylan's newfound prominence on the show, but instead, she's back in everyone's orbit with a major storyline developing.

It could go in a different way, but it looks like Dylan is going to showcase some villainous tendencies. Without Luna, nobody is around to wreak havoc on the lives of everyone in Los Angeles. Although Dylan was first introduced as a sweet, innocent preschool art teacher, something more sinister may be brewing. Will and Electra have overcome so many obstacles, and hopefully, this is just a bump in the road. Their relationship can't take another mad woman sabotaging them.
