What to Expect on The Bold and the Beautiful
On Friday's all-new episode, after a manhunt through dense fog on the beach, Luna's (Lisa Yamada) fate was finally revealed. The closing moments of Thursday's episode featured Luna stepping into the street and seemingly being struck by oncoming traffic. Baker (Dan Martin) confirmed to the Spencer family that Luna was indeed deceased, and her miscarriage was also not a ploy, as he confirmed it with the prison. Monday's episode will be more of the same as everyone reels as the news of Luna's death spreads.
Several characters on the canvas have had or will have deeply conflicted feelings regarding Luna's unexpected demise. It has already created new tension between embattled sisters Li (Naomi Matsuda) and Poppy, (Romy Park) with Li being utterly disgusted by Poppy's lack of compassion for her own daughter's death. Finn (Tanner Novlan) doesn't know how to feel either, but luckily for him, he has a supportive spouse in Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), who is giving him the space to feel as he needs to. Unfortunately for Sheila (Kimberlin Brown), Deacon (Sean Kanan) isn't being as generous, openly callous about his gratitude that the woman who murdered his friends met a grim fate of her own.
Other characters who will likely be caught up to speed on Monday's episode include most of the Forrester Creations crew, including Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). Considering Ridge's animosity toward Bill for securing Luna's pardon, which led to Steffy's kidnapping, the Forrester co-CEO probably won't shed many tears for the recently departed. Deke (Harrison Cone) was in the Forrester showroom when he heard the news of Luna's escape, and since he's aware of the connection between Luna and his estranged boyfriend Remy (Christian Weissmann), this may serve as an opening for the two to connect and begin a dialogue after the fallout of his identity reveal.
Old habits die hard
One of the most significant talking points from recent episodes has been the transformation of Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). For weeks, Katie (Heather Tom) and Bill's children, Liam (Scott Clifton) and Will (Crew Morrow), have sung his praises, citing a noticeable shift in his overall attitude and behavior. Considering Bill has been mostly portrayed as a ruthless titan willing to get whatever he wants at any cost, this is a major change for the character. However, Monday's episode teases that Dollar Bill Spencer is back. If this is true, it could alter the relationships with his family, something he worked hard to get into the table place they're in.
However, it's highly possible that Bill's return to form stems from another major event taking place in Monday's episode. In a head-scratcher, Katie is shocked that she has been replaced as head of PR. Whether or not this has to do with the negative press surrounding Luna and Katie's connection to that ordeal or if it's something else, this will undoubtedly be a blindside for the brunette Logan sister. Despite this being a devastating blow to Katie, who has worked tirelessly in the position, it could open the door to familial warfare in Los Angeles.
It's clear that Bill's attempt to change his outlook and attitude is directly related to mending things with his family, namely Katie. If Bill feels like Katie is being wronged in any way, it's going to send him over the edge, and since there's already a foundation of animosity between Bill and Forrester CEO, Ridge, a new battle may be on the horizon. With Katie replaced, a new door to Spencer Publications could open, and if that's the case, it wouldn't be a leap to see Will jump ship as well, and if Will departs, he could persuade Electra (Laneya Grace) to bid farewell to her family company.

It's been quite a while since viewers have witnessed a proper Spencer vs Forrester feud, and the timing is perfect with Luna's ridiculousness finally over. This could be the palate cleanser that Bold and the Beautiful fans desperately deserve after a year of foolishness.
