On Wednesday's all-new episode, the fallout of Deke's (Harrison Cone) reveal of Remy (Christian Weissmann) as his boyfriend continued, but something is simmering beneath the surface involving Deke's father, Deacon (Sean Kanan), and his wife, Sheila (Kimberlin Brown). Deke and Hope (Annika Noelle) have expressed their concern about their father remaining married to his unhinged wife, and this week, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) orated some of her own concerns. Sheila has profusely thanked Taylor (Rebecca Budig) for bringing her marriage back together, blissfully unaware of how close things got to becoming intimate between the good doctor and her husband.

Things might get more complicated for Sheila on Thursday's episode as Taylor is affected by Deacon's words. Although Taylor is supposed to be leading the sessions, Deacon recently took the lead and did his best to help Taylor move on from Ridge's (Thorsten Kaye) latest disappointment. He encouraged her to know her own worth, and sparks flew between the pair. However, Taylor chose to keep things strictly professional, opting against giving in to the sweet song of temptation. If he continues down the path of reminding Taylor that she's better than being Ridge's second choice, she may reconsider the notion of keeping Deacon at arm's length.

However, unfortunately for Taylor, Sheila is a dangerous threat, and she be treated as such. Despite Deacon giving her a second chance and remaining in his marriage, Taylor's definitely still on his mind. Sheila previously told Li (Naomi Matsuda) that if something inappropriate ever happened between Taylor and Deacon, she'd kill her. The threat rattled Li, and it's one that shouldn't be taken lightly, considering Sheila once shot Taylor and left everyone thinking she was dead.

Currently, Sheila is worshipping the ground that Taylor walked on because she thinks her methods brought her marriage back to life. This could change in an instant if she senses anything personal between them.

On the surface, Sheila's trying to prove to Deacon that she's a changed woman and wants everyone else to believe the same. She's formed an unorthodox friendship of sorts with Li, and she's adamant about attending Hope and Liam's (Scott Clifton) wedding. However, one person who will likely never get on the Sheila bandwagon is her daughter-in-law, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).

Despite this, on Thursday's episode, the two cross paths, and Sheila's tour of amends continues. Sheila assures Steffy that her granddaughter, Luna (Lisa Yamada) is in jail for life. Steffy doesn't trust anything that Sheila says or does, so she might take that with a grain of salt. Although Luna doesn't have Bill to bail her out of prison this time, she's imaginative and will probably never stop trying to find a way out.

Sheila could be giving Steffy that pep talk as a way to worm back into Finn's life, something Steffy's remained vehemently against since the moment they learned who she was to him. Still, to Sheila she thinks she's doing the right thing. Taylor saved her marriage, so the right thing to do in her mind is to pay it forward and reassure Steffy that everyone is safe from Luna's wild antics. Sheila played a role in keeping Luna's resurfacing a secret from everyone, so there's likely backlash coming Sheila's way from Steffy when the two interact.

Sheila may be doing the right thing about Luna now, but if she had done that before, her marriage wouldn't be on life support, and she wouldn't be on the cusp of a rejection from Hope and Liam's daughter, Beth. She could still lose Deacon to Taylor if those murky lines ever become more unambiguous and fully crossed, and she isn't any closer to establishing a relationship with her son.

Also, unfortunately for everyone, Sheila has almost nothing to lose at this point, which makes her more of a wildcard than ever before. Steffy should keep her guard up because Sheila can flip a switch at the drop of a hat and transition from a work in progress to a monster in action.
