The Bold and the Beautiful What-to-Watch moments, October 21: Steffy plots against Luna, while Bill plots for custody of her baby

What to Expect on The Bold and the Beautiful

On Monday's all-new episode, Steffy finally returned home to Los Angeles, but her excitement was quickly squashed. Once Steffy got settled in at home, Finn ignited chaos after he told her Luna was alive and pregnant with Will's baby. After receiving the initial shock, Steffy raced to Luna's prison and confronted her stepdaughter over her past crimes. Tuesday's episode will expand on that as Steffy is determined not to let Luna use her pregnancy as a way out of prison.

Although Steffy was terrified of the idea of Luna being alive and the threat she posed to her family, she wasted no time putting Luna in her place. She called her out for weaponizing her pregnancy. Luna has tried to tell everyone she's a changed woman, but Steffy will never forgive or forget. At the end of Monday's episode, she told Luna she'd make it her mission to ensure she spends the rest of her life behind bars.

Now that Luna is alive, there could be a trial on the horizon for holding Steffy and the art teacher hostage, as well as the shootings of Liam and Sheila. If that's the case, Steffy would serve as a critical character witness against Luna, and her powerful testimony could solidify a lengthy sentence. Like Sheila, Steffy views Luna as a threat, and she'll stop at nothing to keep her family safe from someone she views as unpredictable and dangerous.

The custody battle for Luna's baby takes shape

Although Luna is still quite early in the pregnancy, there's already a lot of debate about her baby's future. Before being hauled away to prison, Bill and Katie staked their claim for custody, telling Luna they'd take the child as soon as its born. On Tuesday, Bill assures Katie and Will that the custody case should be a slam dunk. Considering the mother-to-be is facing hefty prison sentence, it shouldn't be too difficult for the Spencers to secure full custody of the child. However, this is The Bold and the Beautiful, and nothing is ever that easy.

Luna already has somewhat of an ally in Poppy, who expressed pride in her daughter's choice to get pregnant by the son of a billionaire, so she is a wildcard in the mix. Sheila is another factor who cannot be entirely ruled out because it's impossible to predict her next move. However, she is too preoccupied in her relationship drama with Deacon and Taylor to invest too much time in her future great-grandchild. Regardless, if Bill is declaring already how easily the path to custody will be, there's a high probability of he and his family being thrown a curveball.

Again, another episode looks to be dominated by Luna and her pregnancy. The characters cannot seem to escape the chokehold Luna has on their lives, and it doesn't appear to be loosening any time soon. Every core family on the canvas is impacted by Luna's actions in some fashion.
