The Bold and the Beautiful took quite a chance when it turned mild-mannered, "innocent" Forrester intern Luna Nozawa into a crazed serial killer who locked heroine Steffy Forrester in a cage and left her for dead last year.
When Luna went to prison, we wondered if the show could redeem Luna to bring Lisa Yamada back. Instead, B&B brought Luna back crazier than ever, and Yamada has been up to the challenge — so much so that she's Soap Central's Performer of the Week for a second week in a row.
Luna's re-descent into madness

For a while, we thought that Luna Nozawa would just become a manipulative vixen without a killer instinct, but this week, Luna unraveled and once again has murder on the mind. B&B realized what a gold mine it had in Yamada, and that the soap has now chosen to make her Sheila 2.0. Sheila 1.0 (Kimberlin Brown) has become Luna's voice of reason, but Luna is not listening to that voice. Instead, she just does what she wants.
Yamada showed us Luna's conflict as she tried to suppress her killer instincts and creepy threats while pleading with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), and later Steffy and Finn (Tanner Novlan), to hear her out and give her a break. We saw the desperation on her face and heard it in her voice as she realized that Sheila's support was slipping away, Finn didn't want to have anything to do with her, and Steffy kept shooting daggers from her eyes every time she looked at her.
When Luna bought a gun, Yamada let us know that Luna had never done such a thing before. Her weapon of choice in the past had been poison, but now Luna was in the big leagues. She was hesitant at first, but when she stared at a pic of Steffy and aimed the gun toward her image, we knew Luna meant business.
The Bold and the Beautiful's Luna won't give up

Before using the gun, Luna had one last "trick" up her sleeve, so to speak. She returned to Bill (Don Diamont), someone else who claimed to understand her and who made sure she was free. If it weren't for Bill, Luna would still be behind bars, so she was sure he would help her.
When Bill rejected Luna, she turned to Deacon in one last act of desperation. When he rejected her, it was the last straw. Yamada made us feel Luna's anguish and rage, something that is only going to grow as she plots to remove Steffy from the picture
