Liam looked up at Grace with fear in his eyes as Finn told Grace that she owed Liam the truth about his brain cancer. Hope flew into a quiet panic as Liam asked if the cancer was back.

"There is no cancer. There is no tumor," Grace said as Hope and Liam breathed a sigh of relief and thanked Grace for everything. "You really are a miracle worker, you know that?" Liam said. He continued to sing Grace's praises. "You gave me a second chance at life, Dr. Buckingham," Liam continued, until Finn stopped him and told him to hear Grace out.

Hope and Liam became alarmed again as Grace began. She asked Liam to recall when he learned he had a tumor. That prompted Hope to ask why it took so long to find after the brain bleed. "The scans. They took longer than they should have, because I did something. I changed them. I am terribly ashamed. I look back at what I did..."

Liam interrupted Grace to ask what she was saying. "I altered the scams, Liam," Grace blurted out. "You told Liam he had brain cancer?" Hope asked, shocked. Liam insisted he had brain cancer cause he had all the symptoms.

"The mass was never three," Grace finally blurted out. "I put your name and information on someone else's scans. I made it look like you had a cancerous tumor when you didn't."

A stunned Liam went through a list of his symptoms, so Grace was forced to confess that she gave Liam a prescription that would create symptoms to make it appear as if Liam had a tumor, "so I could cure you," Grace said.

As Liam repeated, "Why would you do that, Dr. Buckingham?" Hope was triggered and deduced the truth. "I can think of why. A million reasons," she said with quiet fury in her voice. Liam thought about it for a minute before lunging at Grace. Finn had to stop him as Liam shouted, "You put me through hell. My family. For months. And you made it up."

Liam finally promised not to physically harm Grace, so Finn let him go as Hope cried, "It was a lie. It was a disgusting lie." Grace repeated how ashamed she was as Liam begged her to just stop. "You terrorized me and my family for months for what? So you could drive a new sports car? Live the good life?" Liam asked.

Hope then went off. "I don't want to hear you explain," she screamed. "You are just like your husband. You are just as bad as your ex-husband. That evil, sadistic man who stole our daughter for money. Let me guess. Are you involved in his gambling, too?"

Grace explained that the people Reese still owed money to came after her and threatened her daughters. "I was desperate. So I had to do something to protect my family," Grace cried.

Hope was still a furious mess and couldn't believe Grace would then come after her family. "Again. After all that we'd already been through," Hope shouted.

Liam finally calmed down and slowly got to the gist of it: "I understand extortion, Dr. Buckingham. You extorted my father for a million dollars and passed yourself off as a god who could cure my fake cancer for a price."

Hope quietly approached Grace with daggers in her eyes and slapped her clear across the face. All Grace could do was cry. "You should be ashamed," Hope spat. "First, Reese and now you. You are sick."

Grace said she could never forgive herself and was ready to turn herself in. "'Cause I will be haunted by this for the rest of my life for what I've done," she sobbed. Finn took Grace to the police station as Hope raged and fell into Liam's arms in tears.

In the Forrester Creations design office, Katie updated Bill on what happened to Brooke in Italy. "Thank God Ridge was there," Katie sighed. Bill thought Katie must be relieved. "You must be so relieved, too. About Liam. I can't imagine what you were going through," Katie added.

Bill said he owed it all to Grace. "What she pulled off was nothing short of miraculous. Worth every dollar. A million of them," Bill said, surprising Katie. She immediately felt something was off.

"You don't think it was a bit strange? The circumstances. Having the procedure done outside the hospital, sending Liam home so soon. He was still recovering from Luna's gunshot wound," Katie pointed out.

Bill said at the time, he didn't care. He just wanted Liam to live. "Grace Buckingham quite literally snatched Liam from the jaws of death. In my mind, that woman is a saint," Bill said.

Bill admitted that he felt guilty about the way he had treated Liam over the years. "I demeaned him. I wanted to mold him into my image...And then what did I go and do before he had this brain bleed? I just annihilated him, Katie. I said things he didn't deserve," Bill sadly said.

In Li's office, Sheila wondered why so many medication vials fell from Li's purse. "You're on leave. Why all the medical replies?" Sheila asked. "I said it was none of your concern," Li replied. She asked why Sheila was there, so Sheila told her: "Li, please, I want to know, where are Luna's remains. Luna was my granddaughter. I loved her. I want to see her."

"I have no time for this. Goodbye," Li angrily said as she stomped off. Sheila tried to chase after Li but found a vial of morphine on the floor that made her curious.

Later, when Li sat by Luna's bedside, there was a knock on Li's door. The person said they were delivering something, so Li opened it to find Sheila standing there. Li immediately tried to close the door on Sheila's injured foot. Through the crack in the door, Sheila said, "I know what you're doing, Li. I know what you're up to."

Sheila showed Li the morphine and said that she realized that Li had to be grieving about Luna and using drugs to numb her emotional pain. "Li, you're a doctor. You know better than anyone. Drugs are never the answer."

All Li could do was roll her eyes and look at Sheila with frustration. She insisted she wasn't doing drugs, but Sheila only wanted to help. Li told her to go, so Sheila pretended she was so that Li would let go of the door. As soon as she did, Sheila shoved her way in. "What is going on, Li?" Sheila demanded to know.

Sheila eyed the hospital room curtain in Li's room and asked why it was there. Li pulled Sheila back when she tried to open the curtain, but Sheila got it open anyway to reveal an unconscious Luna in the bed. "My granddaughter is alive," Sheila cried with joy.
