The Bold and the Beautiful finally listened to the fans and is returning the show to what made it a success to begin with. Fashion is once again at the forefront of the soap's top storylines, and all signs point to a fashion duel in the not-so-distant future. One of the best parts of the week was Bill (Don Diamont) gifting Katie (Heather Tom) her own fashion house after weeks of her being disrespected by Forrester Creations. He believed that Katie deserved better than being relegated to the sidelines by her current employer, so he took matters into his own hands. Katie is betting on herself and embarking on a journey that will create dramatic fireworks.

After a lackluster wedding between Hope and Liam, Bill proposed to Katie and surprised her with an impromptu marriage this week. It was refreshing to see a couple reunite because, unlike Bill's son, he and Katie's reunion had spark and passion. They are madly in love with each other, and both have made grand gestures to prove their commitment to the union. Bill, with the fashion house, and Katie had a stunning gift of her own, returning his sword necklace after he previously removed it. Despite the idea behind it that it somehow made him a worse person, Katie chose to fully embrace every aspect of her new husband.

Quote of the Week - Katie, exchanging vows with Bill, "You have this amazing ability to live completely in the moment, and that is so enviable. Because life is short. I wish I could give you my heart, but I don't own it. It's already yours."

Elsewhere, it was good to see Eric (John McCook) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) make amends this week, and the tension between them subsided. While Ride handled the forced retirement in the worst of ways, it was heartbreaking to witness father against son, with the elder grasping for relevance in the company he founded. Eric didn't fully give in to Ridge's demand either, which was the smartest way to play it. He agreed to give retirement a shot, but didn't make any promises that he couldn't keep. There is a real possibility that Eric's shelved final collection could still come to fruition.

Another bright spot this week was the complete lack of Luna-related drama. It feels as if the show is finally firmly moving past the chaos she created and resetting back to some semblance of normalcy. The drama is rooted in family and realism, and not a cartoonish character escaping prison in a laundry cart. This is the change B&B needed to not only survive, but to once again thrive. Relatable characters with real stakes could take the show into another stratosphere, heading into 2026.
