The Bold and the Beautiful's Daily YAPP Recap, June 17: One big interchangeable family

Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What Happened on The Bold and the Beautiful

On The Bold and the Beautiful, Nick waltzed into Ridge’s office and found Brooke in lingerie. And just like that, he became all of us. What is Brooke doing throwing herself at Ridge, a man who can’t ever truly commit and plays her like a ping pong ball bouncing back and forth between relationships with her and (mostly) Taylor? Is that really her destiny? Or, is her destiny standing right in front of her, in the form of him, one Nick Marone? It wasn’t a question that had entered Brooke’s mind, seeing how she’s been waiting patiently for Ridge to leave Taylor and “come home” to her. But Nick strolled Brooke down memory lane to their wedding, the one nestled neatly between the three others he had with her daughter, and reminded her that being a ping pong ball was worse with Ridge’s other ex-wife than it was sharing a man with her sisters and daughter (and Nick should know, since he was also involved with Taylor — thanks pkmott44!). In fact, forget all the other Logans, Nick claimed that he came back to fake L.A. for one reason, to win back Brooke into his life. He could give her everything she’s been pining for, and then some. All she needed to do was say two little words: “Ridge who?” And then, right on cue, Ridge himself walked through the door, way less than pleased to see Brooke in Nick’s arms. With the two of them looking like deer caught in headlights, Ridge wanted to know what was really going on. So now, what will Brooke choose? Will she finally give up on the love of her life that she’s held onto for 40 years? Or is it time to move on (again) with his half-brother?
